Chapter 7 by PiZzA101 PiZzA101

What’s the plan?

Wait it out

As much as she wished to get inside, Marie wanted to avoid being seen naked as much as possible. Waiting for her neighbors to get home would keep her from running down the street, where she was bound to be seen by at least a few onlookers.

Marie walked back to her backyard, took a seat in the one chair in the small, fenced in yard. “Well, I’ve got plenty of time to kill. Only...” Marie began, as she started to try and guess how much time was left in her head. “...six more hours to go.” Marie said exhaustedly. She leaned the chair back, her body turned face up at the sky. The sun was now well-above the tree-line, and quickly baking the backyard in hot sunlight. “Well, at least it won’t be cold.” Marie thought half-jokingly.

Marie passed the time in idle boredom, swapping back and forth between thinking about her job, her mom and dad, and her life. But each time, she’d get brought back to her current state-of-mind. The feel of the sun upon her bare breasts, and light breeze between her legs was a constant reminder to her state of dress, and the current dilemma.

Marie took a deep breath, and tried to relax. “It’s ok Marie, just take deep breaths. Breath in...” Marie spoke to herself, as she sucked in a breath of air calmly. “Breath out...” She said, releasing a smooth stream of air out of her mouth. “Breath in...” she began again, inhaling at an even softer pace.

Marie continued this pattern, flipping over onto her stomach unconsciously in the large beach chair next to the back door of her house. The pattern of the deep breathing, coupled with the subtle boredom at the back of her mind lulled Marie to sleep.

She awoke slowly, to the sound of a sliding door opening, and closing. “Marie honey, what do you want for dinner?” She heard her mom ask. Marie looked up from her slumber, her chest face down upon the beach chair in the backyard. “...Huh?” Marie asked again, her mind groggily regaining its strength. Her mom was standing over her, looking downwards. “I said what do you want for dinner. Isn’t it about time you came in from sunbathing anyway?”

Marie started to recall her coming outside, and laying down in the chair, but couldn’t remember wanting to sunbathe. She had a hazy memory of losing her robe, and being outside naked. With a gulp, she looked down at herself. Her body was just as bare, and unclothed as she could recall. She shot both hands to cover her backside, and looked away as a blush spread quickly across her face.

“Oh relax, it’s nothing I haven’t seen before. What do you want to eat?” Her mother asked again, rolling her eyes. Marie panicked, and spoke the first thing that came to mind. “Fish!” She spoke loudly, wishing her mother would just walk away.

“Alright. Come inside, because the sun’s coming down.” Her mother spoke, walking away towards the sliding glass door. Marie waited for the door to close, and squeezed her eyes together tightly. “Please don’t let this be real...” she thought to herself. The door instead started to close, but stopped short. “Well? I’m waiting.” Marie’s mom spoke impatiently. She leaned against the doorway, and tapped her foot.

Marie desperately wanted to crawl into a hole and die rather than get off the chair and face her mother. The thought getting off the chair and baring her full frontal form to her mother, as well as the lack of knowledge on who else may be inside made her stomach tie itself into a knot.

Against her own expectations, she simply stood up as if there wasn’t a care in the world. Her mother smiled at her, and motioned inside. Inside, Marie was screaming in embarrassment and felt her whole body blushing in red embarrassment. Outside, she simply smiled back at her mom, and walked through the doorway.

Once inside her house, she saw several of her closest family and friends gathered for what seemed to be a party. Marie wanted to sprint away, to anywhere else but where she was. She felt all eyes turn towards her as she entered the room. Without more than a half a second of attention towards her, the party’s conversing continued as if nothing was amiss, and Marie hadn’t just walked into the party as bare as the day she was born.

Marie looked around confused, at her friends and family. “This doesn’t feel right. Something isn’t right here.” Marie repeated to herself as she shook her head, now less self-conscious about her nudity and more concerned with the weird behavior of everyone around her. She shook the shoulder of Gwen, her best friend. The purple-haired, pixie cut woman turned around. She wore the same outfit over her tall, thin form that she wore any time she was working at the coffee shop: an apron over a black T-shirt and jeans. “Hey, does anything feel... weird to you?” Marie carefully questioned.

Gwen looked Marie up and down, before letting out an unsure “...Yeah?” Marie quickly continued. “Like what?” She asked eagerly. Gwen placed her hand on her chin, in deep thought. “Well, for one thing you aren’t wearing any clothes.” She began. Marie slowly placed an arm across her breasts and a hand over her womanhood to try and maintain some modesty. “And for another, nobody seems to notice. Or care, for that matter.”

Marie looked around at the partygoers, realizing what she meant. Marie tried recalling why she might be undressed, and what the party was for. “I remember getting locked out of my house, running around the yard naked, and then I decided to wait on the neighbors to get home. All I remember after that is laying down on the chair...” Marie explained, then a lightbulb seemed to go off in her head. “I’m dreaming!” Gwen winked at Marie, as Marie’s vision slowly faded out.

What does Marie wake up to?
