Wait for that call first

Oh shit, you forgot that you had to wait for your sister to call you. You hope that she isn't too upset by this, even if it is a call to her brother. You basically wait around on deck as you expect the speaking stone to start glowing any minute now. It takes a moderate amount of time for anything to happen, and you're met with the southing sounds of Outset at night and the soft tone of your sister's voice... if only because she seemed sleepy.

"Heeey big bro. Happy birthday!" She yawned a bit. "I just wanted to get this call out of the way first chance we got, so I don't have to interrupt you two tonight." She seemed to giggle a bit... you wonder what Tetra told her. "Anyways, make sure you two actually put a name to whatever your relationship is. I'm tired of just calling it 'a thing' whenever people ask."

"Oh geeze, i'm sorry I didn't know it'd be so late on your end, hey we can make this qu- People ask about the two of us?" That kind of caught you off guard. You suppose a lot of people would remember you specifically, and maybe some of them would know Tetra or at least that you left with her. You can't help but wonder if your sister turned into a gossip while you were away, unable to be a good role model for her. How you long for the days where the only quirk she had was the seagulls she constantly attracted. "Soooooo... how's my little sister doing? I mean, yeah it sounds like you got a lot more of a social life than I had at your age."

Aryll laughs a bit, although it's hard to tell when she gets cut off by her own yawn. "Hey, how about I keep my secrets for now, until you two start figuring out a way for everyone else to start showing up there. I'd rather not have you worry about what's going on with me while you can't rush over and make sure I'm still in one piece." She's hopefully joking... especially since that didn't really make a whole lot of sense. You assume it's because she's tired.

"You sure you don't need to go to bed now? You're starting to sound awfully tired..."

"I know, I know. Don't worry, I'm going to bed right after we wrap this up. Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, and tell you this... Make sure you two treat each other right, okay? Don't end up in an all give and all take kinda thing. I dunno why I think that might be an issue, but... screw it. Go get her, tiger. I'm going to bed." And just like that your stone stops glowing.

Well you suppose that settles that, no needing to worry about your sister for a while. And hey! It sounds like Tetra has something extra romantic planned for you two, since Aryll kept bringing you two up. This could be a pretty nice night. Knowing Tetra, romantic could be anywhere on the lewd scale. But honestly you'd be up for anything she would be. It's not that you don't care, it's more than you trust Tetra to know how this works best for her.

You decide to check about how much longer it'd be until you hit the shore. From a quick estimate based off of how close the damn thing is, you have maybe... half an hour left before you dock and you have to figure out how to kill time until sundown. Actually, now might be a good time to figure that out. You think of anything yet?
