Wait for Her to Come Home!

Adam sat down on the couch and began to wait for Mrs. Erwin to return home from whatever she was doing.

What Adam hadn't realized was the Mrs. Erwin was home, and had hidden when she saw someone breaking in. She had waited for Adam to leave the room, and went to the office to get her husband's hand gun.

Adam didn't hear her creeping downstairs, and sneaking up behind him.

BAM!!! Adam never knew what hit him, the bullet had killed him instantly, and he never got to use his powers.
