Chapter 12 by Shibbar Shibbar

What do you do?

Wade over

How bad can a person with such a lovely voice be, right? You take your shoes and socks off and leave them by the tree. The water is cold between your toes. The current is a little fast but there are a couple rocks that are safe to step on. The woman continues to hum, unaware of your presence, too invested in her singing to pay attention around her. You jump between pebbles, until you reach a fork.

The left rock seems slick with something, while the right rock seems big and relatively dry on top.

What do you do?
