WC Day 9 - Alarms go off

You take a shower and get dressed, feeling much better, but now alarms and stuff are going off in the base. It sounds like stuff is going on. You go outside and see the helicopter in the air, shooting at someone trying to climb up the side of the base or something. These Foxhound guys need to chill. You get your radio, but nobody answers you.

You go looking for Ocelot downstairs, but you can't find him. There aren't very many soldiers around now, but you do see a very weird guy in a gray and orange suit with a sword go running past. You are not sure what his deal is. You aren't even sure that he knows.

Now you hear super heavy stomping, and explosions. It must be that giant robot. You don't really want to mess with that, so you go looking for Wolf and her dogs. You don't find the dogs, but you do find Wolf: she's on the ground out in the snow, bleeding. Somebody shot her! That is so messed up. She's hurt pretty bad.

The base has an infirmary, but there's nobody in there... that's the problem with like taking a base over and locking everyone up. There's no doctor. You have to get her out of here.

You carry Wolf to the garage to find a jeep, but Meryl is already there with two guys, and they have the last one! One of them is that moron from the box, and the other one is some kind of stupid nerd.

Meryl is about to drive off, but she waits.

"You need a ride?" she asks.

"Probably not a good idea," the box guy says.

"Yes please," you say, climbing in with Wolf and keeping your hand on her wound. "Can you take us to a hospital?"

"Sure," Meryl says. As you drive out of the underground garage, you can still hear explosions behind you. It really sucks to be back there. You don't mean to bail on your team, but they shouldn't have just left Wolf lying there. Someone has to help her.

Suddenly you hear another jeep behind you! Eli is behind the wheel, zooming at you through the snow. He starts shooting at your jeep.

You duck down with Wolf.

"Hey, stop it! There's a wounded person here!" you shout, but he probably can't hear you over the gunfire. He also probably doesn't care. He seriously doesn't like the box guy, who is shooting back while Meryl drives.

It's super stressful, but box guy shoots out one of Eli's tires, and Eli crashes. You cringe... that had to hurt, but at least Wolf is still alive.

So this is probably not great for your first job ever, but it's not like it's your fault.
