Voyeur mode seems safer to start with

There were a lot of reasons I didn't want to jump both feet first into making an exhibitionist out of myself. Despite what stereotypes you might have about girls who get tattoos and dye their hair, I'm not the type that likes to show off in front of crowds. I'm actually the sort of girl that values her privacy; that's a big part of why I take such exception to Voy-R's uninhibited installation of surveillance technology across the world to begin with.

Plus, I really didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of a bunch of strangers without knowing what they expect first. It seemed to me the easiest way to get started would be to watch another girl's performance. Yeah, I know there are guys on there too and it's not me being sexist when I exclude them-- I just personally don't go for dicks. If I'm going to immerse myself in this VR voyeurism, I might as well pick the kind of peepshow I can get off on, right? I'm sure there's a hot girl somewhere nearby that I can begin my research with.

"I think I'm going to start out in voyeur mode," I informed her, grabbing my phone off my computer desk to push in the blue button. I set it back down and then went to inspecting my laundry basket, half to show my indifference to the whole experience, and half to double check if I'd left anything embarrassing poking out. It was hard to shake the feeling that other people were going to be watching and judging, even though I hadn't accepted the exhibitionist route.

"I see! You know, Penelope, I can tell you're a skeptic. But you must look at porn sometimes, right? Actually... just a moment... yes! You look at a lot of porn. Camshows, even! This is just like that, but better," En-Voy insisted with an annoyingly shameless smile.

"Don't just casually comb through my browsing history like that!" I snapped back, growing a bit red-faced in spite of myself. That wasn't a matter of En-Voy being a cute girl, giggling at my tendency to scope out other cute girls. I'd be freaked out if anybody said they were checking out all of my search history, no matter who it was!

En-Voy covered her smile with one hand, then nodded. "Sure! Anyways, let's get you started. Why don't we begin with a few search terms that you think will help you find the perfect match? What's your type, anyway? Besides 'girl," the woman questioned, before raising one finger. "I can build a profile based on your average watching history-!"

"God, no!" I complained, trying to swipe one hand over her mouth but finding my fingers just passed right through her annoyingly pretty blue hologram of a face. "Get out of my history already! I can tell you my type. It's..."

Have you ever tried to describe your exact type before? I found myself thinking about all of the best porn stars I'd ever watched and what made them so good to watch. Was I actually going to find someone that hot in real life? The bad part about all of these home-made celebrities would probably be that... well... they'd be kind of homely, right? It's not like I'm some kind of perfect goddess who gets to judge, but this isn't like checking out a porn cache online or scoping out streamers. Voy-R has lowered the barrier of entry to this kind of performance so low that literally anyone can do it.

"Are you worried about seeming superficial?" En-Voy goaded me, tilting her head curiously. "You can also search by behaviors and personality types, if you like. For instance, do you like raunchy girls who want to rake in money hand over fist or shy girls who are just trying to become more outgoing? I can find you either!"
