Voyage to the Blue Lagoon

The PA system announces disembarkment from the ship, and you and Mark make sure you have everything you could need: towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, and of course your trunks.

You're wearing a solid cyan pair of trunks with a white cotton shirt, and Mark is wearing blue and orange striped trunks with a color coordinated Tommy Bahama shirt.

The two of you head down to where the mass exodus from the ship is taking place and slowly progress through the crowd until you're out onto the pier. Mark later clarified with Zoey that you'd meet at the east end of the pier, so that's where the two of you head until you see them standing by the edge of the water.

As you approach them, they don't notice with their backs to you looking out across the water. You slowly inch up behind Cara and quickly throw your arms around her midriff.

She jumps a little before turning around to face you, but then her face breaks out into a smile. "Hey! Fancy meeting you here!" she exclaims enthusiastically with a quick kiss on the cheek. Mark gets a full lips-to-lips kiss that you pretend not to notice.

"Okay, so, we have to get onto a ferry that will bring us over to the island," Zoey explains, leading the group towards a small grouping of boats nearby.

You walk beside Cara, taking her hand as you trail Mark and Zoey. Cara is wearing a long white flowy coverup over her swimsuit and she has a pair of beige flip flops. She's wearing a pair of big sunglasses and her hair is less neat than it was last night, at least before the slide.

Zoey is wearing a red tank top pulled taut underneath her denim shorts. She's got neon green flip flops and also is wearing a pair of sunglasses. She again has her hair back in a ponytail.

The group reaches the boats and are directed to boarding the one on the far right, furthest from where you approached. You walk on and find a bench at one side of the boat that will fit all of you. You sit in-between the girls with Mark on the other side of Zoey, closest to the water. The captain says a few word before the boat launches, and then you're off. They play Caribbean music over the speaker system as the ferry glides through the crystal clear water.

You put your arm around Cara and she shifts herself closer in towards you. The four of you enjoy the breeze and occasional spray of water as you pass by enormous mansions, the crew member on the speaker calling out the famous owners of each. You somewhat doubt what he's telling you, not 100% sure if almost every mansion here is owned by a famous American celebrity.

Finally you see the island approaching, and the water almost instantly turns a vibrant shade of blue. The boat slowly passes through a cove entrance and the inner part of the island is revealed to you. An impossibly clear lagoon stretches out, dissecting the island into two separate halves. A white sand beach lines the lagoon with trees stretching out beyond that. The wooden dock grows bigger as the boat approaches, and you look out past Mark to see a roped off section of water with dolphins zooming around!

You're one of the last groups off the boat, and as everyone rushes off the dock the four of you stand there, stunned by your surroundings.
