Volt #2: Breasts and Bombshells

ISSUE TWO

Martyrville; Friday Night

A week had passed since the last Black Night; that time of the month when even the most hard core thugs and gang bangers would abandon their own turf out of fear. Criminal elements swarmed the streets and alleys of Saint Cities most notorious neighborhood, free forever from the looming specter of whatever villainous forces once operated in the area. The Black Bull Corporation, owners of the now destroyed Black Bull Shipping, had declared they would not be rebuilding their business after an electrical fire burnt down their warehouse a week prior. Without the oppressive power of the shady company to keep the nefarious denizens of Martyrville in check the local crime rate was sure to sky rocket. It would be the perfect place for the cities newest hero to make a name for herself.

At least, that's what she had hoped.

"Oh come on already, do some crime!" Volt sat idle on the edge of an abandoned factory. The blue haired amazon kicked the heels of her boots against the wall beneath as she looked out over the quiet streets. "Build a **** ray, kidnap the president, try to take over the world, anything!" The neighborhood responded with silence. "I'll even take a purse snatcher."

After several long and dull evenings spent prowling the streets of the cities most dangerous neighborhood the only crimes Hannah Hancock had found were economic disparity, social apathy and some rather well done graffiti. The most heroic thing she had done all week was push an old womans car to a gas station after it'd been left idling too long. It felt like an immense waste of her time.

"This is bullsh-" She paused. Two figures had begun skulking down the alley directly below her, trying their best to stick to the shadows and move unseen. "Oh? Hello, what have we here?" Now she cast her orange gaze down upon the first criminals she had ever caught in the act.
