Visiting an old friend

You would normally go straight to the Saffron Gym, but there’s someone else you should go see first. Master Kim did you a huge favor by giving you Mankey last time you were here, so you should at least go thank her before crushing the Gym Leader. Even though she was a little scary last time you met her, your manners still demand that you thank her properly.

One foot outside, though, reminds you of exactly where you are. Saffron City, the city of big buildings that leave you totally lost and disoriented. There’s no way you’d be able to find your way back to the dojo. You don’t even recognize the store across the street from the Pokemon Center from the last time you were here!

Diplomacy Check: Passed!

Fortunately, you realized something back in Celadon City. If you just ask people where things are, they’ll tell you! All it takes is asking five total strangers, and you’ve found your way to the dojo.

It looks a lot like you remember, except for one minor detail. The name has definitely changed. Instead of being called ‘Master Kim’s Martial Arts Dojo’, it’s now called ‘Master Daniel’s General Badassery Dojo’. Wow. That sounds intense.

This can’t be the right place, since it’s apparently owned by this “Master Daniel” and not Master Kim. All you did was ask people where the dojo was, and they pointed you over here… Maybe you should go inside and ask? Maybe this mix-up happens a lot.
