Visit Viconia

You decide to seek out your former traveling companion, the drow priestess of Shar, Viconia deVir. Normally, you would have to use magical divination to discover her whereabouts, and then seek her out on foot. However, the two of you had always been 'close,' so with a mere thought, you are able to teleport yourself to her location.

With a flash, you arrive in the midst of a battle. You find Viconia defending herself from a group of elven warriors. Three lay on the ground, slain by the drow priestess, but two more are pressing her hard, their sword strokes coming in such quick succession that she is unable to retaliate with her mace. Behind them, a trio of archers are preparing another volley to add to the dozen arrows already lodged in Viconia's shield.

You could simply will the elves dead, and you are about to do so when it occurs to you that it has been a long time since you have fought as a mortal. Doing so might prove to be a worthwhile diversion, and would make for a more dramatic rescue besides. Perhaps this excursion will be even more entertaining than you had anticipated.
