Visit Ruby's team

You looked around for a place to hide out and your eyes fell on the room across the hall.

“Eh, better than nothing.”

You walked over and knocked hurriedly. The door opened a minute later and Ruby appeared.

“Jaune?” She asked. “What’s up?”

“Can I hide out in your room a little bit?” You asked.

“Sure!” Ruby stepped back and let you in, closing the door behind you. “Did something happen?”

“Some… accidental drama involving the girls on my team,” You admit slowly. “It was best for me to flee.”

Your eyes scanned the room. Ren was sitting on his bed while Nora was hanging off the top bunk to talk to him. Weiss was at her desk, with hers and Ruby’s bunk beds set up on the other side of the room. She had turned around and frowned. You had seen the bunkbeds earlier that week and Ruby’s team seemed to enjoy them.

“Are you okay?” Weiss asked worriedly.

“Yeah, I’m fine, can’t say the same for Yang.” You chuckled.

“Did Yang make a horrible joke which caused Blake to snap?” Nora asked suddenly. “Blake killed Yang and that was what caused the scream?”

Ruby and Weiss facepalmed. It seemed like Nora had a very vivid imagination.

“Nora,” Ren sighed. “It’s not like Blake would do something like that.”

“She did,” You lied, playing along. “Then Pyrrha, being the helpful girl she is, got roped into hiding the body.”

It was Ren’s turn to facepalmed.

“Then why are you here?” Ruby asked, now playing along herself.

“Plausible deniability,” You tell them. “If anyone asks, I was here all day.”

“Very funny.” Weiss said with the biggest eye roll ever.

“So are you going to hang out with us today?” Nora asked excitedly.

“I don’t see why not,” You replied with a short laugh. “Need to do some training later today, but I’m free for a bit.” You turned to Ruby. “You don’t mind, do you?”

“Nah, you’re like my best friend here.” Ruby assured you. “You’re welcome anytime.”

“Of course,” Weiss added loftily, putting a hand on her chest. “You’re my owner. All you need to do is tell me you need me, and I’ll be by your side immediately.”

“Would you abandon us, Weiss?” Ruby asked with puppy dog eyes.

“Er… things won’t come to that.” Weiss muttered, looking away to avoid the full **** of Ruby’s sad face. A powerful attack that very few could resist.

“I knew you cared!” Ruby cheered, jumping on her and giving her a big hug.

“Get off!”

You laughed and went over by Ren. While you enjoyed having a lot of sexy girls at your beck and call, having a guy friend was a nice change of pace. Male bonding was important to stay sane. You and Ren talked a bit between classes occasionally and he was a good guy. You two were going to hang out sometime and you debated asking him about Blake’s weird behavior.

Nora suddenly stuck her head down from her bunkbed.

“Hey, Jaune!”

“Yeah, Nora?” You asked.

“We still haven’t had a rematch in taming Grimm!” Nora declared. “I won’t lose this time.”

Crap, you remembered you two did talk about that earlier in the week.

“Oh, right.” You nodded. “Well, I did promise and an Arc never goes back on his word. When do you want to do it and what are the rules? We should make this fair.”

“Excellent idea!” Nora agreed loudly and tapped her cheek. “Let’s see. Grimm has to be alive. It’s not a taming contest without that. Second, it has to do tricks to prove you tamed it. We’ll go out and capture a Grimm each and bring it back. Whoever has the coolest one wins.” She grinned. “Ren and I will totally win.”

“If you get a partner, I get one too.” You declared, reaching out and grabbed Weiss’ arm. “I’ll take Weiss then.”

She blinked in surprised

“Of course!” Weiss agreed after a moment, looking proud. “There’s no way we can lose when we work together.” She seemed pretty happy about being included in doing something with you. The pride of a possession.

“And Ruby can be the judge,” You added, noticing Ruby looked left out. She immediately brightened. “I think she can be honest and neutral.”

“I can!” Ruby cheered. “I’ll make sure the game is absolutely fair.”

“You’re going down, Jaune!” Nora told you seriously. “Team RRNW (Renew) is going to dominate!”

You realized this might be more of a hassle than it’s worth. Sure, it was something different to do than being tortured with training and studying, but it was going to be tiring all the same. If you took over their dorm room, you could write on Nora without issue. Maybe set it up to do something else with her. When she was bouncing around, you noticed she did have a nice chest and ass.
