Hmm? What's this?

Huh. Odd the Archive or "Jukebox" as you've taken to calling it has more than just movies and cartoons on it as it seems that the jukebox has an entire catalog of some of the most famous game series both big and small.

Looking throughout this section of the Jukebox, you've noticed 3 names in particular that stand out in the catalog.

1. Overwatch: One of the newest franchises from Blizzard, Overwatch follows the adventures a particular group of characters who, the majority of which, were members of an international peace keeping unit of hero's known internationally as Overwatch and were created in response to the Omnic Crisis.

A massive world wide event that came about due to the awakening of Ai sentience, that ultimately lead into a world conflict between humanity and the machines.

Were it not for the actions of the Members and Agents of Overwatch, the world would have fallen into chaos, and it was thanks to this unit that Humanity eventually triumphed over the forces of the Omnic Army.

That said, once the crisis had ended the new golden age that world soon found itself enjoying would not last long as in times of peace dark forces gathered under the umbrella of the new mysterious shadowy terrorist Organization known as Talon, whose main goal and manifesto is to strengthen Humanity through conflict and Chaos.

This of course brought the terrorist organization into direct conflict with the world peacekeeping unit of Overwatch, that said Talon was smart and chose not to fight Overwatch directly and instead fought from the shadows using the public image of Overwatch against itself turning the public against the once beloved organization.

More to this they manipulated and even planted their own agents throughout the peacekeeping unit and ultimately manipulated the two major leaders of Overwatch and its covert counterpart Blackwatch into constant conflict, which ultimately led to the final fall of Overwatch in a massive conflict that ultimately destroyed Overwatch’s headquarters in Switzerland. This conflict eventually **** the hand of the governing bodies that be to eventually **** the permanent closure of the Overwatch organization with the Petrus act.

This act ultimately made it illegal for any and all Overwatch operations to take place anywhere across the globe, ultimately forcing what remained of the peacekeeping unit to disband.

However, recently members of the old Overwatch team and new young heroes from across the globe have joined together to re-create the Overwatch peacekeeping unit, despite the legal ramifications and have begun operating all across the globe to fight back against talons increasing influence and violent acts of terror as to prevent another Omnic crisis from breaking out.

This is where the story begins for this game as Talon and this new Overwatch begin to fight across the globe using any and all assets at their disposal to destroy one another. Time will tell who when and who will lose…

2. Mortal Kombat: The Mortal Kombat series has been in existence for decades and has had over 10 different entries into the series. With the most recent entries into the Mortal Kombat series rebooting the entire series, that said the over-the-top graphical **** and bloodshed has still remain the same and has only gotten better with new CG and graphics.

That said the story still remains the same, long ago and the time since long forgotten a powerful and bloodthirsty warlord Shao Khan sought to conquer all the realms underneath his bloodied banner.

Realm after realm, eventually fell to this bloodthirsty tyrant and his endless blood lust. Eventually, Shao Khan came across the world in which humanity resided in, Earth realm, and sought that at this precious blue jewel to his already burgeoning collection of worlds.

That said, he was met with immediate pushback by this realms protector, Raiden the God of thunder stood directly opposed to Shao Khan and knew of his bloodied conquest across the realms and sought to stop him before he could the realm that he protected and thought of as his home.

Shao Khan was powerful yes, but even he knew to stop when faced with the might of a God, despite this in his arrogance Shao Khan still believed he could conquer earth realm regardless of the God of thunder’s presence.

That said, Shao Khan still had to earn the right to earth realm in the ancient and sacred tournament known as Mortal Kombat. This tournament, which is only held once per generation, that if Shao Khan successfully won 10 times in a row, would gain the right to conquer earth realm and merge it with outworld his realm.

Shao Khan had already successfully completed several such takeovers before with the peaceful realm of Edenia being the best example of such a victory, so is not surprising that the bloodthirsty warlord thought he would succeed so easily against earth realm.

An Shao Khan nearly did succeed in taking over Earth from where not for the actions and bravery of the realms greatest warriors who denied Shao Khan his final victory at the final hour of the tournament, where in which the champion of earth realm, Liu Kang, defeated the mad tyrant personally.

However, this loss only served to enrage Shao Khan and in his arrogance and bloodlust for conquest, chose to ignore the sacred right of Mortal Kombat and invaded earth realm directly with his massive legions, but just as all things seemed lost, the elder gods intervened and ultimately destroyed Shao Khan for his arrogance.

3. Skullgirls: A Relatively new fighting game that follows the ventures of a series of different characters as they all liked the most powerful artifact in the world, known as the Skull Heart.

A powerful ancient artifact that was created by the three concept rule this world known as the Trinity and would grant the wishes of whoever held it within their hand, so long as that person in question was female, a strange caveat but the power of the Skull Heart could not be denied.

However, the caveat of the user needing to be female is not the only catch, for if the wish is not made with the purest of intentions by the purest of souls, the user will have their wishes twisted and corrupted like that of a monkey’s paw and in turn will be corrupted twisted and changed into a malevolent and monstrous creature known as a Skull Girl.

The Skull Girl throughout history has unleashed unimaginable waves of terror and destruction upon the world in the series. With her being able to control the dead and being nigh un-killable, possessing unbelievable power, with the added bonus of being completely and totally ruthless.

It is only once a Skull Girl is killed will the Skull Heart will appear once again, if only briefly, that said many have tried to destroy the Skull Heart as to prevent any more foolish individuals from making a wish and unleashing the horrors of the Skull Girl on the world, only for the skull heart to reappear seven years later.

Thing is, the Skull Heart will always transform whatever soul that wishes with it into a Skull Girl for every wish, By its own very nature, is selfish and thus every soul that has ever wished with the Skull Heart has always transformed into a Skull Girl.

The heart itself and the promises that it offers are all lies, purposely created and crafted by the Trinity, the gods of this world, to provide a source of constant entertainment as they watch and even play with the souls that seek and chase after the power that the Skull Heart pretends to offer them.

All the while, these poor unfortunate souls never know that they are being used and toyed with no differently than how the player plays with their digital avatars. Truly a very sad and bittersweet story…
