Vicky isn´t a Fighter, but she is more Dangerous for Batman than he could ever think of

Chapter 69 by Colleem Colleem

Vicky sat at a small kiosk and wondered how she would proceed. She understood what this war was about, the Dracula had told her about the werewolf, but she didn't see any fun in just killing Bruce. Dracula could have done that himself if he had wanted to. She couldn't imagine that a being of his power would really have to fear a lower wolf. Since she herself had never seen one of them before, she couldn't possibly know what kind of power Bruce had in his new form. But she knew Batman and knew exactly what he was capable of. And that Batman could not be left to Zatanna or Talia was also clear to her. Neither of them was equal to him, even with their new powers, which you, if Vicky went to, wasted completely. No. Batman had to be taken away.

A diabolical grin formed in her beautiful face as she stood up and left the bar. She took a taxi straight to the house of Gotham's police chief. He would be the first one she would need. And she couldn't wait to see her new plan implemented. As she got out of the car she looked up. A thunderstorm had come up and it started to rain cats and dogs. That was perfect for what she was up to. She didn't hurry to get to the door. After all, it was even good when she was completely soaked. That only played into her cards. Completely soaked she stood in front of the door and rang the bell. It took some time until Police Chief Gordon was at the door and she opened it. He looked a little confused at the city famous reporter standing in front of him.

"Miss Vale? What are you doing here so late?" asked the police chief, looking questioningly.

"Get soaking wet and freezing Mr. Gordon." She grinned amused and luckily Gordon reacted exactly as she had expected.

"Oh, sorry. Please come in. I was about to make coffee. It'll warm you up." He said immediately and nodded to the side.

"Thank you very much." She smiled and entered the property. She hadn't yet fathomed all the secrets of being a vampire, but got a kind of crash course from Dracula. She could not enter any private property without being authorized to do so. That meant that she had to be invited. And now the first phase of her plan could come into effect. As she entered the house Gordon led her into the living room where he offered her a place on the couch. Then he disappeared briefly in the kitchen and came back with 2 cups of coffee and put one in front of her on the table. Waiting, he looked at her and waited for her to start.

Now it was time for Vicky. She would truly enjoy inciting such a close confidant of Batman against him. He was also in very good shape for his age. Maybe she would have some fun with him before she left the house. She had other things to clear up. And Gordon would do everything she would ask of him after that evening. She was sure of that. But now she wondered how much he knew exactly. After all he was an ally of the first day and it was to be assumed that he knew more than he had told the others.

"So, Miss Vale. What brings her to my door in this bad weather? Is it new to me that they also make house calls for a story?" he joked and sipped on his tea. Even without her new talents, she knew that he would not accept her visit so easily. She scrutinized his eyes very carefully and he chose his words very carefully and with a maximum of deliberation. A talent she had always admired in silence. Gordon was a very clever man.

"As always, you are very careful not to say the wrong word mh? I'm here because I want to talk to you about something. It's about Batman. Do you know who he is?" she asked him while her eyes drilled into his and she channeled the power of her blood. She had used the same power to drive the couple to death. If he knew who Batman really was, he would say so now.

Gordon looked briefly confused and tried to order his thoughts. These eyes were as always stinging and demanding. And yet they were somehow different today. They seemed colder and more calculating. But the question she had asked. It just couldn't get out of his head. It was as if the question echoed in his mind and settled in his thoughts. He couldn't help but answer this question so that he could finally concentrate on something else. After all, he had to find out what she really wanted here.

"No, Miss Vale. But I think I've told you that before." He answered and was finally able to sort out his thoughts again. This question had been penetrating in a strange way. "And even if. Why do you think I would just answer this question like that?" he smiled a little more calmly now that he could think more clearly again.

"Of course, you would tell me Commissioner Gordon. But I believe you don't know. Maybe now we should come to the reason why I am here. But before we get to that. Do you like my boots? Take a look. They were really expensive. But they are beautiful, aren't they?" she smiled cold-heartedly and crossed her foot over each other. She wore a pair of high boots and let them circle a little in front of his eyes.

Without him knowing exactly why James Gordon's gaze wandered on her boot. He could not turn his gaze away from your boot. The movements of her foot seemed almost condescendingly arrogant and yet he followed every movement.

"Yes, Commissioner. Now that I have your full attention, we can begin our conversation. You'll be a good boy and listen carefully to what I say, won't you," smiled arrogantly. She noticed that she had gained power over Gordon herself without eye contact. It was the way she chose her words, how she pronounced them and how she emphasized them. All this was enough to manipulate him. If she was honest, she was a little disappointed by Him. From a man in his position Vicky had really expected more.

James Gordon found it harder and harder to concentrate. He could barely take his eyes off her beautiful boots for 5 seconds, let alone think a clear thought. It was like he was in an echo room and Vicky's voice was echoing dozens of times off the walls. He only knew that it was important to listen.

"Of course, I'll listen to Miss Vale."

"Oh, that was just part of the answer I wanted to hear. Are you my good boy James? Say it. Are you saying that you want to be my good boy?" she laughed and raised his chin to look at you.

"I.... I.... I'm a good boy yes... I'd like to be your good boy." James replied after some hesitation. It sounded pressed and the first beads of sweat formed on his forehead, but when he had finally choked out the words, he visibly relaxed. It was as if he had fought an inner battle and now that he had lost him, he was relaxed.

"That is good. Then kneel down now and lick my boots clean. They got all dirty outside in the rain. She said and put one of her boots on the table.

Without the slightest hesitation James Gordon rose and began to lick the drops of water from her boot with his tongue. Vicky enjoyed the sight extraordinarily and the rush of power slowly but surely went to her head. She could literally feel her humanity slowly disappearing. However, this seemed perfectly normal in her present condition. After all, she was no longer a human being. Why should she still burden herself with moral principles?

"And now that we have clarified the roles there is something that you will do for me my dear. She smiled. The next hour Gordon did nothing but listen and the words sank deep into his mind. Unable to resist her whispers, his spirit surrendered completely to her power.

When he left the house 2 hours later, he only had the task in his head that he had received. He went directly to the police headquarters and started to work on his tasks. His colleagues saw him working around the clock for the next 2 days. He went through the incidents of the last months again and had his desk full of files. To his colleagues he seemed perfectly normal, eager as ever and obsessed with bringing the truth to light. On the third day he called his most important and best people into the meeting room. Also, present was Vicky Vale, who had been led into the building by Gordon herself.

The conversation lasted about 2 hours and when Vicky had left the house there was a completely new task force. It only existed for one purpose.

To catch Batman.

Thanks to Gordon's manipulation of the files and Vickie’s hypnotic powers, the department heads were convinced that Batman had gone mad and the Joker had only been the first of his victims. It wasn't too hard to convince the rest of the cops. Gradually, the department heads and Gordon forged new evidence that indicated that Batman had left his noble path and had left the path of darkness.

It didn't take long until the first newspapers and TV shows started to report about it. Vicky had used her entire informant network to spread false information. It went like wildfire through the city and beyond. There have been countless rumors as to why the dark Knight had become a criminal. Some claimed that the death of Joker had been an accident and that he had gone mad about this act. Others thought that the spirit of the dead Joker had taken possession of him.

No matter what that chain of events had set in motion, it was just a side note. Gotham was divided into 2 camps within a week. One half couldn't or wouldn't believe that Batman was a criminal and the other half was exactly convinced of this fact. The mayor had made sure without Vickie’s help that a warrant for his arrest was issued. And so, it was many years ago. Batman had to assert himself not only against criminals, but also against the elite units of the police who mercilessly hunted him.
