VR Day 9 - Stay at the cabin

You better stick around. Your team needs you, and no matter how much the Viti and Sheva situation frustrates you, running away from it won't make it better.

So you give Viti and Sheva their space, but check on your girls and make sure everyone is on the same page for tomorrow. You have a bit of a plan, and at least a little information about the opposing team. They're scary, and there are some rumors going around that some of those military girls are real jerks, but... you just have to get out there and play hard.

Later, as you brush your teeth, Sheva approaches you at your sink in her boyshorts and sports bra. You wish she wasn't so attractive... it would make it easier to hate her.

She leans on your sink with her back to you, folding her arms.

"I was wrong," she says.

"About what?" you ask as you brush.

"About you."

You spit your toothpaste out. "You don't think that. You just don't like seeing her so sad."

"OK, so I was wrong about how much it would upset her," Sheva snaps. "I already told her what I did. So she knows it wasn't your fault."

You are startled. "Really?"

"I'm not a monster," Sheva says. "I was worried about my friend. Don't look so happy. If you ever hurt her, I'll find you."

You believe her. You still have a bit of the black eye she gave you.

You aren't sure what to say, but she walks away before you could say it anyway.

You finish getting ready for bed and walk out in your nightshirt to see Viti sitting nervously on her bed. Sheva is pointedly ignoring you.

Well... this is awkward. You go over and sit next to Viti, who looks especially cute in her pajamas and smells amazing. She always has the best shampoo.

"I guess I should apologize," you start to say, but she leans over so that her shoulder touches yours. You really want to hug her, but you don't want to do too much PDA in front of everyone, and the whole team is in the cabin.

"I'm very glad," she says.

"You know, breakups do happen," you say gently. "You can't let one kill you."

"I know. It's just so much." You know what she means. FUTA. The game. All that pressure, then a breakup too? This is why relationships are risky.

"I missed you," she says to you.

It's only been a couple days, but you missed her too. You all need to relax after this crazy week... but you can't now. You can relax after you win.

What's next?
