VI Day 7 - Practice Match(maker)

Trying on your new uniforms... eating lunch and going over the plan for the match... it all goes by fast. You get on the field and right away it is a difficult game, but you are confident in your team.

It's a fierce fight, and there's a lot of bruising going on... the refs are letting players get away with things. That works for you because you are an aggressive player.

Elena comes to help at just the right moment, and you and Lara are able to fool everyone and give Aki the ball. She scores!

You hold that narrow lead, and Adella shoots on Viti twice, but Viti stops it both times... but Viti seems off. Near the end of the game, Adella finally gives up the spotlight and fake everyone out to pass to Hana, who scores easily.

The game ends in a tie, 1-1.

You know this is your fault. You probably could have won if Viti wasn't so distracted. You will need to get her to a more stable place before the game on Friday...

"Not bad," Tiff is saying to you. She has her arm around your shoulders as is looking at the players. "Someone has to go talk to Mox," she says.

"Viti and Sheva," you say right away.

She looks surprised, but nods. "It's your call, captain."

She tells Viti and Sheva to go do the interview together. You stand and watch, covering your mouth to hide your giggling. Viti is so nervous and Sheva is so cool... but you can see Sheva kind of... protecting Viti in the interview. She dissects that last goal so it looks less like Viti's fault.

Sheva seems like a cool person. You decide that she is worthy of Viti.

At dinner they sit next to each other without any help from you. You eat in peace and don't stalk them while you keep an eye on the other tables. So... you will play one of these others on Friday. But who? They're all good...

Back at the cabin, Viti's coach stops by with boring underwear for her. That's OK! The sexy stuff already did its job... Sheva got to see Viti looking so cute. And now Viti has the cute stuff for when she needs it.

Viti's on her bed, texting someone. You go to Sheva.

"Close game today," you tell her, and she nods. "We'll need a leg up for Friday. Can you do some spying?"

"Of course," Sheva replies.

"Take Viti with you," you tell her. It can't hurt for them to spend a little more time together, right?

Sheva grabs Viti and they sneak out. This is too easy. You wait a minute, then sneak out after them. You just want to... make sure everything goes OK.

It's dark, and it's a cool night. You are not good at sneaking around, but neither are they.

Unfortunately... you realize that you might be getting carried away. Time to stop worrying about Viti and Sheva. You have done what you could... you should worry about soccer now. Tying in a practice game isn't so bad, but you can't lose a real game because of screwing around.

Instead of spying on Viti and Sheva, you decide to spy on your opponents.
