Chapter 13 by MidbossMan MidbossMan

How will you take care of the first floor security?

Use your sleeping powder and learn something surprising about Tschau (Sleeping Powder -1)

Once Tschau found a hangar entrance relatively close to the target point, you could tell she was ready to do her usual: she'd stealthily wipe out the whole of Promethia's and Bortnik's forces by killing them one at a time with her ninja skills. The whole thing would be a spectacle of bloodshed and ninja speed, but it did have one problem associated: you'd be left with no hostages to interrogate in the aftermath. If the next door took biometrics or something, you could be screwed. You told her to hang on; you thought you had a better way forward.

"Hmph! I'm an infiltration expert, Ciao. Trying to keep me from doing my job isn't being helpful," Tschau warned you, narrowing her eyes behind her mask.

Perhaps that was true, but you also felt that Tschau's skills would be needed against Promethia and Bortnik more than they would here. If she exhausted herself against these guys, she'd be in poor shape to stand against those two bigger threats later. You told her that you had an idea that would take care of the enemies just as quickly while also securing allowing you to secure intel from the surviving underlings.

She still didn't seem convinced. The ninja turned her back on you and began to creep inside.

You grabbed hold of her shoulder and told her that if she listened to you on this, she'd be free to use her phone while you worked your plan. She could do whatever she liked with that time.

"... Fine. But if it goes south, I'm taking things into my own hands."

Using Tschau's grappling hook, the two of you had managed to work your way into the airducts. Her small size made her ideal for maneuvering in these tight spaces, but for you, it was pretty damn difficult. Instead of crawling along with her and risking getting stuck, you handed her the sleeping powder from earlier, then instructed her to disperse it through the vents. If she wore her mask and released it into the rooms using the fans, even a small dose ought to knock out the guards inside the room, securing the whole upper floor with zero casualties. Then the two of you just had to wait for the dust to settle to the ground, at which point, you could move through as long as you each kept your mouth and nose covered.

"... I'm surprised you know ninja techniques like that as well. Don't move from this spot... I'll take care of it." Tschau leaped ahead of you into the vent, then pulled herself up. You were still standing on a metallic crate, pondering stepping back down to the ground since you yourself couldn't fit inside the vent, when you saw her begin kicking her legs; she'd oddly stopped herself from going in all the way, so she hung half out of the air vent. "Ciao, we're aborting your plan! There's an enemy presence inside here! Abort immediately!" She had enough professionalism to avoid yelling and giving away your position, but still, her hisses sounded urgent.

You couldn't picture what type of enemy she was talking about, but matching her desperation, you grabbed her around the waist and began pulling. This had the unintended effect of basically burying your face in the seat of her pants, more so as you found she didn't respond to a small tug.

"Ciao, pull! Pull! Eeeeeiiiii!"

You'd never heard Tschau's voice sound so shrill and girlish as it did in that moment. Whatever was in there really had her terrified. You held her waist tighter and pulled harder! Despite her size, her legs felt like they weighed a ton...Still, you didn't give up.

Perhaps it was only predictable that instead of getting her out, you managed to accomplish pulling her slops all the way from their high waist-band to around her calves. Your view became filled with the stark, pink-white flesh of her body and her cute, white panties, adorned with a black cat's face on the back, as you placed your hands around her bare belly and pulled tighter. This again drew her butt into your face, entirely unintentionally, of course. "Ciao! What are you doing down there?!" Now she really was screaming; you thought her voice would certainly be reverberating through the vents now. "There are rats in here! There are rats! Don't stop pulling!"

You'd never suspected the fearless operative would have a distaste for rats. You supposed you'd gotten a glimpse at another weakness of hers. Still, you thought she ought to be much more worried that she was, perhaps, being molested by her teammate than that she was under siege by small mammals. With a great deal of effort, you finally managed to pull her down, causing her to land heavily on your chest as the two of you both toppled down past the stack of boxes onto the floor.

The ninja stood back up to her feet, then brushed off the snow-dust and plain old dust-dust that had gotten on her through her attempts. "... D-Don't take my tests lightly, Ciao. That was a test and you failed. Your response time was shoddy." The ninja quickly pulled her pants back up and re-secured her waistband as she chided you for not getting her out faster.

You told her that if she'd mentioned it was just rats, you'd never have pulled her out...

The girl's eyes went wide with anger as she shook your shoulders with force too powerful for a girl her size. "You didn't hear a thing about rats, Ciao! Look, I'm going back in! This time, I'm going to do what you asked me for originally! So forget everything you heard about me and rats!! Forget sticking your face into my butt too! You slow-response-time, delusional perv...!"

With a dumbfounded expression, you nodded, telling her you'd certainly forget all of that. In reality, you couldn't if you tried. Moments later, Tschau had done what she originally promised to, dispensing the powder in each room. Her fear of rats seemed to have lost out to her embarrassment at failing her mission when faced with a few harmless furry critters. You couldn't help but laugh to yourself, having seen this side of her.

When the ninja returned, her face looked even whiter than usual; quite a feat, considering she was an albino. "It's done, Ciao. They're all asleep. Your tactic worked. Now we're going to meet up with Despedida... and you're not going to tell her a word of what happened."

You could agree to that. Tschau had been tormented enough for one phase. Still, ironically, seeing that even the invincible ninja had some weaknesses to her made you feel a little less afraid of her, which translated to feeling a little less suspicious of her as well.
