Use the demon's energy to draw Buffy to him - that should keep the demon occupied for awhile

"What do you want, Buffy?" Xander asked as he moved toward her.

"Well, we need to figure out who Eyghon is. And what is going on with Giles. He mentioned someone he used to work with. Rayne?"

"No, what do you want in life," he said as he right up in front of her and grabbed her shoulders.

"I..." Buffy stammered realized how close he was to her. She felt compelled to answer, "I want to be happy."

"Are you?"

"Yes. No. Not as happy as I could be."

"And if you could have one thing in life, what would it be."

She stared into his eyes, "Love. Someone to be with. Forever."

"And do you think you'll ever have that with Angel?"

A few seconds passed before Buffy answers, "No."

"Then I think know what you need," he said as he leaned forward and kissed her.

Buffy shook her head, "Not that. Why aren't with Xander. Boyfriend?"

"I, uh, might have gotten carried away," she admitted. "Now might not be a good time."

"You got freaked out because of his demon face?"

"Kind of the opposite," Amy admitted. "I mean, no, him in demon form wasn't a turn on. But there was just something about his presence that was...very exciting. You know?"

"Yes," Buffy said eagerly. A moment passed before she realized what she said, "Not that I'm into Xander. He's your boyfriend. Or maybe boyfriend."

"It's okay, Buffy, I understand," Amy said as she reached out and stroked Buffy's cheek.

"Amy...I'm so horny," Buffy admitted. "I can't even think straight."

Amy responded by leaning forward and kissing Buffy.
