Use fast spells

I can sense this slime girl's power, but I decide that it will be better to use spells that I can cast quickly as she seems to be able to move only rather slowly. I cast a quick lightning barrier spell on myself, and then cast a minor lightning bolt spell at her. The beam hits her, and she moans in pain, and as she retaliates, she is again stunned by my lightning barrier. I cast the lightning bolt spell again, and she cries out and her body quivers in pain. The spells are not very strong, but they prevent her from making an effective attack against me. She attempts to wrap a pseudopod she creates around my leg, but once again the electric field surrounding me shocks her and she reflexively pulls away.

She is eventually stunned enough that I can cast a slightly more complicated spell, which produces a lightning field around her. Thus trapped, I can hear her voice: "Enough, please, enough, I will do whatever you say..."
