Chapter 15 by Gatsha Gatsha

What's the right tool for the job?

Use Spark Stimulate to disable all three cameras on the path.

Converting her outfit to yellow and white, Break Girl considered her options. Spark Stimulate was only capable of freezing one enemy in place at a time. If she used it on the Mag-Flies, maybe she could step through them, one at a time? No... the bigger question was if she could hit the far-away targets at such odd angles as precisely and quickly as she needed. Energy was also a problem...

Instead of the Mag-Flies, how about the cameras themselves? Break Girl wanted to shout "Eureka!" but decided she'd be better off keeping herself discrete. She tried shooting at the first one from her hiding place...

Sure enough, it was crackling with electricity and hanging low on its swivel, the universal robotic gesture of "disabled electronics."

Pumping her fist, Break Girl proceeded into the blind spot of the Mag-Flies, then methodically disabled each camera in turn. It had taken a lot of energy, but soon enough, Break Girl was safely pressed against the wall of the building in the dark with a nervous frown and her ordinary colors, inching her way around to find an entry point. She'd just have to hope that nobody any any security desk inside had noticed one of the cameras go dark. That said, it might be a pointless concern, owing to what she saw next.

The first door she found seemed to have an electronic lock, but, as best as she could tell, it was completely powered down. It wasn't just the first floor lights that were off... The security itself seemed to be off, excluding the defenses she'd noted on the perimeter.

Was it a trap? Was it safe to just walk in? Break Girl didn't have any better ideas...

((30 Spark Stimulate energy used))

What's inside?
