Uravity (a.k.a. Ochako Uraraka)

On paper, you are simply Ren Yamada, an unremarkable 20-something old Quirkless male with a part-time job as an office worker for a major money management company. Parents are deceased, no siblings or extended family. Slightly above average, but unremarkable, grades in school. Overall, very average and boring.

Thankfully that was the intention.

The reality was that you were not especially average. To start with, you possessed a Quirk that allowed you to influence gold in a variety of ways as long as you were physically touching it. Even without touching it, you had a fairly strong sense that enabled you to detect gold nearby. You were previously diagnosed as Quirkless until you discovered the precise nature of your Quirk. You've kept it hidden and carefully used it for profit without excessively flaunting it.

Thanks to that, you managed to acquire some very lucrative private business, although the boundary between it being legal and illegal was a little too vague for you to be comfortable with openly advertising your services. As a result, most of your dealings were conducted secretly. Any time you needed to be physically present, you used your Quirk to give you the appearance of a gold-skinned man with modified facial features. It also gave the handy implication that you could physically produce gold (or a gold-like material that was far stronger than it should have been) as well as control it.

You're especially careful in avoiding anything that might tie Ren the part-time office worker to “Kin”, as you were known in certain business circles. Still, there were a handful of heroes who knew of and distrusted your hidden persona, and so there have been some pretty close calls.

But none have tested your will, patience, and resolve quite as much as the Pro Hero Uravity, better known as Ochako Uraraka.

It had just been a rather exhausting day at your office, dealing with typical black company bullshit. Your only saving grace was the fact that your direct superiors were too busy getting their asses chewed out by their own superiors to pile even more obscene amounts of work for you to complete before the end of the day. Still, you were pretty sure that come tomorrow, a freshly baked pile of workplace harassment twice as bad as usual would be waiting for you.

Ordinarily, you might have felt an itch for some excitement and worked at your “side gig” for a bit, but you really just wanted to unwind and relax while you could. You certainly weren't hurting for money, and the idea of finding a “companion” to keep you company in the red-light district was quite enticing.

Until life decided to fuck you over and have a motherfucking Villain decide to kidnap you as a human shield from the police chasing after him. Honestly, if you looked like a green Donkey Kong with the strength to match and had a Quirk that let you create miniature earthquakes with every step, odds are you probably didn't need a hostage. At that point, you're probably just a dick who decided he needed to specifically ruin one unlucky guys day even more than it already had been.

In the aftermath, you claimed that the stress of the encounter caused you to blackout for most of your unwanted trip across the city, but in reality, the hammy theatrics of the would-be villainous mastermind pissed you off while still making the entire experience boring as hell.

You had more than enough gold between the disguised frame of your glasses, your belt buckle, a ring on your finger, a small emergency batch concealed in a false tooth in the back of your mouth, and a few other small sources that you could easily have fashioned a shiv or a knife, jabbed it into his eye, and manipulate the material to pierce his brain in 2 seconds, at worst. But you held back, not the least of which being the fact that you knew you were not in any genuine danger unless the villain well and truly fucked up by accident.

Still, it took far longer than you could appreciate for someone to finally show up to your rescue.

If nothing else though, you could appreciate the curvy figure of the hero that did show up.
