Upgrades: Level 1

The Hylax bug is gestating in its first human host, select a tier 1 upgrade from each category to help it along in its consecutive infestations:

Tier 1 Infectivity Upgrades:

Scuttle Speed: Increase the speed that the adult Hylax can independently move.

Grip Strength: Increase the strength the adult Hylax is capable of grabbing onto its host.

Carapace Durability: Increase the size and strength of the adult Hylax's outer shell.

Tier 1 Host Symptoms:

Serotonin Production 1: Eggs now produce powerful doses of Serotonin, greatly increasing the hosts libido and overall sex drive as well as their mood.

Estrogen Production 1: Eggs now produce a constant stream of Estrogen, enhancing the hosts feminine physical and mental characteristics while subduing many of their aggressive tendencies.

Oxytocin Production 1: Eggs now produce strong doses of Oxytocin, facilitating bonding between the mother and the hylax adult and young. Host begins Lactating.

Tier 1 Physical Upgrades:

Ovipositor Length: Ovipositing tail is longer, to get to harder to reach places.

Egg Preproduction: Young are more developed when they are injected, leading to a reduced term and a stronger adult. Also more strenuous for host and causes more "swelling", reducing the ability of the host to remain concealed.

Knotting: Plugs the targeted hole, preventing any of the bonding cocktail from escaping and ensuring the full dosage is absorbed by the host.
