What's next?
Unsthalas ( 1 ) ( Main Story )
On an extremely snowy mountain, east of Unsthalas, two persons can be seen walking through a blizzard.
If someone paid close attention, they could notice that the two persons are, in fact, children.
As the hard wind blew their vests, if someone paid even more attention, the first person was carrying a sword while the second one was carrying arrows with a bow next to them.
They were Miraak and Asa, in the middle of crossing the blizzard.
"The wind... It's too strong! I can't see!!" Asa shouted as she tried to block the wind with her hands in front of her face.
"Stay with me. We're almost there." Miraak said relaxed as he effortlessly blocked the wind with one hand while grabbing Asa's left hand.
Although she found it strangely warm in such a cold environment, she ignored it and continued following him.
Soon, the wind became gentler and gentler.
As they left the blizzard, they finally saw their destination.
It was a city-fortress build on the mountain's foot.
It seemed to be built by Ice itself, but Miraak could see stones in the middle.
As the sun shined on its full white beautiful walls, he could see a giant waterfall in the middle of the city.

As the beautiful scenario showed herself to Miraak, the scenario started to change.
The walls, destroyed.
The waterfall painted in blood, falling on a mountain of corpses.
Children, Women, Men, Elderly, Young.
All of them, Dead.
Blinking his eyes, the beautiful scenario returned.
'... I guess that's what happened the first time, huh... What a waste.' Miraak thought calmly as he remembered the long-gone past. His past.
Although he wasn't the monstrous Miraak anymore, he wasn't a good person.
So he kinda regrets helping the genocide of the Snow Elves.
Not because he thought that their 'Life' was precious. But because of the wasted talent eliminated on the gene pool.
Pure talent on Ice Magic.
The Snow Elves were so accomplished on Ice Magic that they could build castles and houses of pure ice as long they had Magicka.
The only reason they lost to the Atmorians was that they not only weren't united but the Atmorians had the Dragons help.
Winning the war, of course, they would beautify history to their side by saying the entire Race of the Snow Elves lost to only 500 men.
It was an utter humiliation against the extinct race.
If he could train them... If Atmorians and Snow Elves united as one Empire.
As Miraak thought this, an extremely dangerous light shone through his eyes.
But, he shook his head.
It was impossible to do it... For now, at least.
Taking one step after another toward Unsthalas, Miraak walked toward his first Elven City.
Followed by Asa, who was constantly glaring at the beautiful city-fortress.
After all, she never saw a city-fortress so majestic.
...
"Stop! Who are you!? Show yourselves!" A Snow elven guard, who was guarding the city's gate, yelled as he pointed his sword toward the 2 persons.
Looking at the guard, Miraak saw his armor and his sword.
The armor looked like a blend of ebony and elven style, but with a white and maroon color scheme. It also has a small bat motif on the collar and a Celtic knot design on parts of the armor, such as the back.
The sword was similar to the armor. With a blend between ebony and elven style but with a white and maroon color scheme.
Noticing the helmet, Miraak just shook his head.
It couldn't be called a helmet. It was just a crown.
Now he knew how easily killable the Snow Elven was.
The armor didn't defend the sides of the person while they didn't use a helmet.
It was a ridiculous armor.
Who designed it was more focused on War against Magic then War against physical weapons.
Finally responding, Miraak said relaxed, "I'm a guest of Lady Aumriel."
Since the guard shouted, he knew that translation magic, as a spell or as an enchantment, was being used.
So he responded in Atmorian language.
Although the other guard, that was near the one that shouted, said nothing, his eyes showed negatives emotions toward the duo.
'... Is it Malice? Disdain?...' Miraak thought as he sighed in disappointment.
"Which tribe are you? What are you trying to do? Nedic savages." The guard asked still pointing his sword.
'... Do they think we're Nedic?... Ignorance sometimes is good, huh...' Miraak thought in disdain.
Seeing the disdain in Miraak's eyes, the guard became enraged.
"You bast-" The guard shouted, ready to kill him on the spot but a beautiful voice interrupted him.
"Stop. They are guests." Aumriel said seriously, suddenly appearing opening the gate.
"Your Highness!" The two guards kneeled on the spot shouting.
"I hope that they didn't disturb your mood... If so, I can kill them for you." Aumriel said calmly but strangely seriously.
When the guards heard the last sentence, they slightly trembled.
After all, they are Elves.
If they lived through magic, they could live up to thousands of years.
"It doesn't matter. I'm here on official business." Miraak said Aumriel, ignoring the guards.
Not wanting to disturb him, Asa just stayed behind him for support while glaring at Aumriel and the city in alertness, in case the situation goes south.
Although Miraak was content with Asa's alertness, she is becoming a little too clingy.
Since the beginning, Aumriel noticed Asa but decided to ignore her for now.
"Looks like it's not the time for trivial matters, huh," Aumriel said as she gestured to follow her.
As the duo followed the Princess, they noticed more and more eyes glaring at them.
Eyes filled with disdain and malice.
Since Miraak was not only her savior by making her stop using the soul-destroyer paper, but he was her superior in terms of power, Aumriel was extremely respectful toward him.
As they passed the streets, Asa noticed how different their culture was.
The architecture, their daily routine, their appearance, etc...
She was marveled by such a beautiful race.
But she was feeling it. The malice in there was becoming more and more evident as they walked.
Even in the children's eyes, disdain and malice were starting to appear.
Although Asa was still only 10 years old, she was already quite proficient in Archery. So she was already prepared to take the bow out and shoot in any emergency.
Shooking his head, Miraak followed Aumriel inside a guest room, inside the Royal castle.
As the group seated on their respective chair and they were about to talk, an annoying childish voice sounded outside the guest room.
"So, she brought new assistants or what?"
Suddenly, the door of the guest room opened and a child Snow Elf appeared, smirking like a fool.

Arrogantly believing in himself, Miraak fell to the Last Dragonborn. Seeing his soul slowly but surely disappearing, in his opinion, to Akatosh's embrace, Miraak frowned more and more intensively. Feeling so close, he started to laugh. Looking at the Last Dragonborn and Hermaeus Mora, he smiled like a maniac. Putting all his remaining energy in his thu'um, he slowly opened his mouth. "Tiid Vo Nu!" Suddenly, all Aedra and Daedra felt an extremely strong destroying the Time-Space laws of Nirn. ( Fanfiction of Elder Scrolls. ) ( I'm the creator of the story.
