Unfortunate accident

Mackenzie sped along the roads as she slumped down to conceal her topless state. She moved two lanes away from trucks and buses to make sure they couldn't see in, but in her haste, she didn't notice that despite a traffic light being green, all traffic around her stopped. It wasn't until she crossed into the intersection that her mistake made itself apparent.

The topless redhead failed to see the large black SUV barreling through, nor did she realize it blaring its horn until it was too late. The last thing she heard before losing consciousness was a loud bang, and screeching of tires, followed by a feeling of weightlessness before feeling all her weight at once on her side.

Mackenzie awoke in a hospital bed, feeling woozy. Her vision took a moment to clear before she was able to discern shapes and details to know she was lying in bed. She looked down, and was shocked and embarrassed to see her bare breasts pointed up from her chest. Down below, she felt something covering her from the waist down. She went to move her arms to cover them, but was met with resistance.

She then noticed her arms had been bandaged and hung from slings that held elevated them off the bed. Pins and wires were coming out of her hands, which both worried and terrified her. Before she could scream, a nurse came into the room. The topless redhead squirmed as she fought to cover herself.

"Oh, awake finally, I see. Welcome back to the land of the living. I'm Jackie, your nurse." A brunette seemingly in her 30s smiled at her.

"What happened?" Mackenzie whispered, finding it hard to speak.

"Oh, your throat must be dry. You've been out for a day." The nurse said hovering a cup near her mouth.

Mackenzie drank deep from it and nodded when she was done.

"You had quite an ordeal. Many are calling you a hero."

"A hero? Why? I crashed my car."

"That's what I figured. All these folks thinking you're an activist. You're just a dumb bimbo who wasn't paying attention." the nurse thought.

"Oh, you probably didn't know, but the governor was in town, and his motorcade was making its way down the street. You just happened to pop out just before the lead car, and BOOM! instant fame!" The nurse explained.

"What? Am I gonna go to jail?" Mackenzie asked.

"Oh no, when you were found **** and topless, many believed you were an activist trying to get the governor's attention. You probably weren't expecting for it to be as bad, but many women and a lot of men were quick to label you as the "free the nipple" crasher. Fighting to have equal topless rights as men."

Mackenzie blushed, imagining how many people, even the governor, may have seen her topless. However, she had more questions.

"My hands...?" She asked.

"Oh, during the crash, your hands smashed into the dashboard, which is somewhat usual for crashes of this nature. You broke both your wrists, and your hands were severely damaged. Tendons had to be repaired or replaced, and we had to restructure your right hand due to your injuries. Unfortunately, you won't have full use of them for a while." She said.

"And why am I still topless?"

"Oh, the newspapers and local news stations wanted to report on your story, and of course you were already out in public topless, so it was assumed that you wouldn't mind being on tv and in print as well. So, we didn't see any harm in keeping you this way. Unless your cold?" The woman explained.

"I'm...fine." Mackenzie replied.

"Well, if I were you, I'd still play up the activist angle. If the public found out you aren't who they think you are, things might bot be good for you." She explained.

"How bad can it be? I'm not that important." The topless redhead commented.

Nurse Jackie turned the tv on and left the room. On the screen, it was tuned to CNN, where the current breaking news was about her!

"Oh no. Well, at least I'm still an anonymous girl.."

"Continuing our coverage about the strange crash yesterday, we have obtained confirmation that the topless activist is a woman named Mackenzie..." the anchor explained.

"Oh shit. Well, at least they're not showing pictures."

"As we reported yesterday, a young woman drove into the path of Governor Richardson's motorcade, and had to be extracted from her severely damaged vehicle. She was **** when she was rescued, and as our footage shows, she was topless. Since many have speculated she meant to crash in order to bring attention to the "Free the Nipple" campaign to allow women to be bare chested in public the same as men, we are able to show you the uncensored images we have obtained from the scene as well as at the hospital where she is being treated." The anchor continued.

"Oh, dammit. At least it can't get worse..."
