Underwear?

(Context: school rival Trysten has stolen Francine's and Laura's underwear.)

"Ummm," Laura sat in the back seat of Nancy's car as they headed on out, "you wouldn't happen to have any underwear at your house, would you, mom?"

"Why?" Nancy asked, "I guess I can buy some if you'd like. Why, are you out?"

"Yeah," Francine interjected, "we've had... issues with our underwear supply."

"Of course you have," Nancy muttered underneath her breath cattily, "well, I'll see what I can do to clothe my daughter."
