You listen back in to the conversation.

"No actually I'm single as of a few weeks back, though I am straight just to clarify for you girls, of which I return the question.." He says in a put on accent to match Cat's posh tone wish gets a flirty giggle from you both.

"Yes actually we are both in a relationship" You say.

"As in you're together?" Mike hesitates to ask, suddenly losing his cool character for a moment.

"No no!" You respond, Cat looked ready to do the same, "we both have boyfriends, sorry I should have been more clear" you recover with a few nerves.

"Seems James is the only single one in the flat?" Mike says, "No prizes for anyone who can guess why." You both laugh again, it seems everyone has sussed out the lad.

You finally arrive at Tesco and the other two get out of the car as you're typing a response to your Dad asking about London. You notice the door open and you look up to see Mike holding it for you again. Stop being a gentleman it's killing me!

"Oh I'm sorry, I was just replying to my overly-worried parents" you say, getting out the car, accidentally brushing a hand against his belt on the way up. You gulp, "sorry about that" unable to maintain eye contact

"No worries, they're just worried about you being miles away from them, they'll calm down after a while. I went to Spain for a month last summer with my then girlfriend, they rang me every day at 8am for the first week, try that for size!" You laughed at his anecdote, as thoughts of him sunbathing come into mind, again you slap yourself out of it, heading over to Catrin. The shopping goes unconsequentially, remembering the booze as per the request of knobhead James, and accidentally falling into the occasional flirt with Mike, followed by an internal telling off, before heading back to the flat, this time Cat in the front.
