Chapter 19

Where is Andi?

I did knock on her door to see if Andi was free, but I got no response. Shame, she could've served as a useful buffer between me and Rosie while I figure out what the fuck is going on in my mind... Or at least kept Sienna occupied.
Our cousin's car was plenty big enough to squeeze us all in, especially given I called shotgun, leaving only the slender forms of Marie, Poppy, and Rosie in the back. Maybe it's a good thing Andi wasn't around, given the looks Rosie keeps glancing at me she'd have taken the opportunity to sit on my lap. It's not like I'd have the willpower to stop her right now.
The journey is definitely an energetic one, with Sienna and Poppy singing along to the radio. Even Rosie got involved, I guess she's in a good mood after yesterday... It really seems to mean a lot to her. Fuck, I need to avoid this situation. I needed to avoid this situation from this morning onwards, but it's a tad late now.
We finally arrive at a car park near the centre of town and pile out. Sienna takes the opportunity to take a picture with the girls, but Marie decides not to partake. I watch from afar, I can't help but notice Rosie's outfit, a red dress with white polka-dots with a black leather jacket. She looks... Goddamn stunning. Fuck it! Fuck! Gotta keep my mind off it. Poppy's gone for a much more conservative cream blouse with blue jeans... That hug all the right places.
What the fuck is wrong with me? I'm checking out Poppy now!? I can't do this right now, what the fuck was I thinking? I feel the air leave my lungs, my mind going blank... And a hand on my shoulder.
"Let's get a drink." Marie orders me, pulling me away from the group, who don't seem to notice our exit. "You need to learn to keep it together if you're gonna be a pervert, it's painful to watch." She states as we wander towards the high street.
"Easy for you to say, you don't have siblings." I spit back at her. Damn it. She doesn't deserve to be talked down to, she's just trying to help. "It's... It's like a war in my head, I can't figure out what I really think, and I feel guilty for considering anything."
Marie sighs at my confusion. "You know, it'd be so easy to tell you the answer, but that'd defeat the purpose. I'll give you a hint. Do you have anything to feel guilty about?" She asks plainly.
I put my dick in my sister's mouth, feeling pretty bad about that. Somehow I don't think that's the answer she's looking for. I guess we haven't done anything people would consider unforgivable... Not yet anyway.
"So, you and Sienna seem close." I observe, changing the subject. Marie snorts at my thought process. "I just mean, it's nice to know you do have people... Other than us."
"You're my cousins, she's my cousin. All comes under the same category to me." She replies dismissively.
I shouldn't be as hurt by that as I am. "I dunno, since we came here I've seen you more like a little sister than a cousin." I offer.
"Given how you look at your little sisters, that's not as sweet as you'd think." Marie scoffs. Okay... Poor wording. Guess I'm just a distant relative to her then. "But, if I'm really honest... I haven't seen you as just a cousin either." She adds, slightly more softly than her previous harsh statement.
That may be the nicest thing she's ever said to me.

We settle in at a pub for a couple of drinks, chatting about school and speculating where Andi could be, until the others find us with their shopping bags in hand.
"I can't believe you'd make us carry all those heavy bags all by ourselves..." Poppy pouts, knowing full well she's using her puppy-dog eyes on me.
"Seems like you managed just fine." I counter with a smirk, nodding towards the mountains of bags. "I know we had to travel light on our way here, but you didn't have to re-buy your entire wardrobe."
Rosie chuckles at my jab, she's barely taken her eyes off me since we all met up... Honestly, I've struggled to keep mine off her, which just makes me feel more guilty. "Well, I get loads of discounts on certain brands, so it's always a good idea to stock up when I'm around." Sienna chips in, beaming with pride at her new shopping buddies. I suppose the only option she had before was Marie, and she's not what I'd call fashion conscious.
"When you can get me a discount on cheesecake I'll consider it." Marie responds, unimpressed with the haul.
"How you can eat so badly and keep your figure is a wonder!" Sienna smiles. Poppy's the same, I don't know where it goes, it's like a black hole. "More's the pity that you haven't let me set you up with a nice boy yet." She adds wistfully.
Marie reaches new levels of eye-rolling at that statement. "That reminds me, how is Gareth? Or was it Will? Trevor? Stacy? Honestly, they go by so quick it's hard to remember." She strikes back.
"If they're as good as the last time I saw them, they're very satisfied." Sienna grins smugly. "Speaking of good times, that waiter keeps glancing at you, Popsicle." She notes, directing her gaze to a guy serving a table in the restaurant area... A familiar looking guy.
"Wait, is that Ty?" Poppy attempts to confirm. It sure looks like it, I guess her works here? I suppose there's worse gigs out there.
Sienna seems especially pleased at us recognising our bandmate. "He's definitely handsome. Why don't you go talk to him?" She nudges my sister, who looks almost pale at the concept.
"Don't listen to her." Rosie jumps in. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to." She adds, giving an angry look to Sienna, who clearly ignores her.
"Don't be silly, romance is always a gamble, but you should always roll the dice when you get the chance." She argues, placing her hand on Poppy's shoulder. My sister smiles at this advice, and gets up from her seat, fists clenched with determination as she walks towards the bar area where Ty awaits.
Marie seems less pleased with the interaction. "Wise words, did you get that from Jax? Or Brent? Or Jonathan?" She grins to herself.
"From the wisest person I know, Grandma Dani." Sienna answers simply. Marie offers no rebuttal to that answer, both of them just stay quiet for a little while. I can tell how much respect they both had for her.
Always roll the dice, huh?
