Two humans

The singing is intermixed with the chords of some stringy device. You're not really an expert on human culture, but they do love their toys. You shudder at the thought of their most dangerous toys, the ax and saw. A small group of humans were **** to a forest.

Being a nymph, you quickly become a tree to avoid conflict. As they come through the trees into the clearing, you get a good look at them.

The taller one is very thin and pale, like a birch. He is covered in draping blue garments and has a pointed red hat. His eyes search the glade, which makes you nervous. The other is squat and friendly like a boxwood. He is running his hands over a piece of tree corpse with many strings across it. Horrifying. Both have deep male voices and they seem to be enjoying themselves. They smell strongly, like meat that has been left in the sun, and water is escaping from their skin from walking in the heat. They are obviously uncomfortable in the heat.

The tall one puts a hand up. "We're here, the creature is close, Hemmy." His friend rolls his eyes and starts fiddling with his music machine.

"Klaus, you said that three times today. And everytime, we found nothing."

"Quiet, you fat scoundrel, she's watching us right now..." Klaus scans the glade, passing over you and sending a shiver down your back with all the cold they conceal. He is a wintry soul and you being to get a bad feeling.
