Two Days Later

Lord Mark of Cornwall arrives with his entourage two days later.

He seems to really like you and treats you with utmost respect.

“You are really a pretty flower. I am really happy to get such a beautiful wife at my old age.” he says happily.

He presents you a precious diamond crown for your birthday and tells you to wear it at the wedding. Your marriage is progressing smoothly and at noon you are officially his wife. Everyone is celebrating in the main hall of your residence. The atmosphere is festive and an archery contest will be host in honor of Lord Mark.

All of a sudden you catch sight of a young youth and you fall instantly in love with him as if there is magic guiding your heart. He walks over to you and kisses your hand. “Mother in law, you are really enchanting.”

Lord Mark introduces him, “My dear, this is my most beloved son Tristan, his skill with the bow is unparalleled.”

You are still speechless with amazement. Tristan must be only two or three years older than you. In your eye he is very handsome and has a majestic demeanor. He is getting a little embarrassed by your stare and coughs slightly.

You finally regain your composure and smile “I would really like to see your archery skills. I hope you will win this contest.”

Tristan`s skill with the bow is really extraordinaire making you admire him even more. He easily wins the archery competition and everyone is in a good mood.

At the evening Lord Mark and your father are leaving for a secret discussion.
