Two Bickering Brothers

"Dude, I told you not to touch my stuff!"

"You haven't touched this basketball in years!"

"So? It's still mine!"

As Jason wandered down the street, his peace of mind was suddenly disturbed by the shrill voices of two adult but teenaged locals arguing in their front driveway. The shorter, younger one -- skinny but fit, with a glimpse of a slender chest peeking through his low-cut sleeveless shirt -- had apparently been shooting hoops in a basketball rim over the garage door, and the taller, buffer, older one was trying to claim the ball as his private property.

These kinds of dispute just didn't happen in families with Alphas, for obvious reasons, so Jason stopped to watch for a bit out of plain curiosity.

"Did you go in my room for this?" the older brother asked accusingly, "You're not allowed in my room! No one's allowed in my room!"

"It wasn't in your room," the younger brother protested. "It was in the garage. And I don't see your name on it anywhere."

"I'll put my name on you!"

The older brother looked ready to beat up the younger one, but Jason stepped in, placing a hand on his chest. The boy nearly swung at him instead before noticing the Alpha band on Jason's wrist. His eyes went wide.

"S-sorry, sir," he said immediately, shrinking into himself nervously. "I didn't know you were..."

The younger brother cleared his throat awkwardly, "We don't have any sisters, but our mom's inside. She usually takes an extra long shower on Saturdays, so you can probably catch her naked if you want."

Jason shook his head, laughing. They were good little locals, immediately offering up what they assumed was the reason an Alpha would be here. Any other Alpha would have gone on to the mother and left the boys alone. Some might have taken the boys along to watch. Jason, however, had something else in mind.
