Within a few hours Morgan was once again interrupted from her solace when guards marched down into the dungeon, dragged her out of her cell and marched her to her own grand hall. Whereupon seated upon the throne was a perfect facsimile of herself, if Morgan had to guess it was most likely a flesh golem created by Layla to impersonate her. After the guards deposited her at the base of her own throne they immediately left the hall leaving Morgan and her lookalike alone.

"LAYLA!!! I KNOW YOU'RE WATCHING WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!!!" Morgan shouted aloud.

"Now, now my queen calm down." Layla said as she teleported into the hall with a flourish of wind.

"Why have you done this betrayal? Have I not done enough for you in bringing you to my castle as my court mage?"

"This is not a betrayal my queen, I could never thank you enough for taking me under your wing." Layla said with a bow.

"Then if this is not a betrayal what do you call this? Binding my magic! Disguising my appearance that not even my own subjects recognize me!?!?"

"Oh that, I was informed of milady's boredom as of late and thought this would be a safer and more immersive way for you to relievethe boredom you have been feeling as of late. As you have most likely guessed the runes are temporary so is the disguise that adorns you."

"Hmm I see you have been speaking to Ingrid then?"

"Indeed it was our idea to have this done both of us will play the role of not having known who you are at all."

"And just who am I supposed to be for the time being then?"

"Of course milady until the runes and disguise wear off you will be playing the role of Arty a recently captured thief who will serve out her sentence as an indentured servant." Layla explained with a wide smirk, pleased with the background both she and Ingrid had though for the queen in their little game.
