Try to take Raven up on her offer but Starfire complicates things

“If you’re not to busy I’d appreciate it if you could finish off my tour.” You say nonchalantly, hoping not to sound too enthused.

“Well if she can’t find time I’m free all day! I could show you around.” Beast Boy chirps in.

“That’s okay, I’m sure I can find the time.” Raven blurts out unwilling to risk losing her ‘alone time’ with you, “Besides, I could use a little break from my studies.”

You may be just the new guy but even you know that wanting to spend time with the new guy and taking a break from her books doesn’t sound very Ravenesque. Of course you have no way to cover for her remarks so you simply remain silent and hope no ones noticed how odd Raven has been acting all morning.

You decide it would be best if you and Raven don’t leave breakfast together so while Raven heads off to her room and the guys move over to the couch to play video games you stick around and help Starfire with the dishes. You don’t really have to pay much attention to the task at hand; cleaning up is easy and Starfire simply seems happy to have the help. It’s a good thing too since your mind couldn’t focus on cleaning even you needed to. All you can think about is Raven and the beautifully **** anticipation she must be feeling as she waits for you in her room.

“You know, I think Raven has the squeeze on you!” Starfire whispers happily as the two of you are washing dishes.

“What are you talking about? Squeeze on me? She’s not forcing me into anything.” You say confused.

“No, not forcing you into something… I mean she has the romantic feelings towards you.”

“Wait, do you mean to say she has a crush on me? Is that what you’re trying to say?”

“Yes, it seems quite clear and I’m glad friend Raven has finally found someone to experience such feelings with. She’s always seemed so… wait, you do have the strong feelings for her don’t you.”

“Are you asking me if I love Raven?”

“Yes, that is exactly what I am asking.” Starfire says as she puts the final dish away, “though I hope your answer is no.”

“Wait, I confused. I thought Raven was your friend. If you think she’s in love with me why do you hope that I don’t love her?”

“Oh, that is quite simple. If you do not love her then I can still make the claim on you for myself.” Starfire says with a little hint of devilish glee in her voice.

“Wait, what?” you yell perhaps a little too loudly.

“Oh, I apologize” Starfire says as her expression changes from devilish glee to sincere apology, “Sometimes my words do not come out right. Please let me try to explain.”

“I think that would be best.”

As Starfire steps closer to whisper something in your ear you suddenly feel her soft yet firm hand grab your crouch.

“If you do not love Raven I wish the chance to prove MY love to you.”
