Try to get Cat into the vent

“See that vent?” You tell Cat. “It leads straight to the lobby. You can use it to sneak in, grab our mascot, and sneak out. No one will notice.”

“B-but, it seems really …tight.”

“Don´t worry, you´ll fit. I should know, I had to clean the whole damn vent for my rush.”

“D-does it has spiders? Is it crawling with bugs?”

“Nah. Go ahead.”

“I don´t believe you! You go first.” Cat demands that you enter the vent. Well, you´ve come so far, why not play along for just a little longer?

“Fine, but I´m not stealing the mascot, ok? Just a quick peek to show that you can go in no problem.” You bend over and barely squeeze your shoulders into the hole. “See? You can fit in perfectly- OUCH!” Planting her foot on your ass, Cat pushes you inside. You are waist-deep into the vent and can´t get out.

You flail your legs, the only part of your body not currently stuck. “Hey, not funny Cat! Cat? Hello? Get me out of here!” Cat wised up to your tricks, damnit!

Wiggling doesn’t do anything, you are trapped there until someone comes and rescues you. You think about shouting for help, but there´s a spider right under your nose, and you rather not attract her attention.

You ready yourself to be there for the long haul, but then you hear a commotion behind you. People yelling and running all over the place, maybe Cat made her move? As sudden as it began, the noise stops and you feel someone yanking you off the vent.

“T-thank you… Oh hi, Fleur! Funny story, I tried to scam Cat but she called my bluff, and well, you can see what happened.”

“I know, she tried to steal our mascot. Luckily for you, she couldn´t. She is still prowling around somewhere. Catch her!”

Well, you still have a job, but you don´t think you can talk to Cat again. You´ll have to be more direct.
