Try to entice them to come down to your level

The animals might be persuaded to climb down to your level. “Here monkey, monkey, monkey.” You click your tongue and repeat the phrase over and over like a mantra. The primates don’t find you interesting.

Right, you will need something more attractive than your melodious voice. What would an animal want? Food, duh. Sadly, there aren´t any bananas nearby, and it´s not like you have a snack on you.

Foraging around, you only manage to find some nuts of questionable edibility. You hold them up to the sky and point at them. The monkeys stare at you, but they remain unimpressed.

“Yummy!” you say while rubbing your stomach. The troop isn´t enticed by your offering. Maybe a demonstration will change their minds? Ugh… Well, better that than going commando all day.

You wipe a nut with your wrist and hesitantly put it in your mouth. It´s rough and tastes like dirt. Nope, you can´t eat that. Instinctually, you spit it back out. The monkeys resume their game and continue ignoring you.
