You decide that there is no way this ugly monster will take advantage of you. Whatever it plans to do - you will not be subjected to.
With a resolution now set in your mind, every panel, plate, piston and circuit in your body work together as you plant your heels into the soft earth of the cavern and begin tugging against this creature's appendage. As you hold your ground, the alien-form begins to squeal like a wounded piglet. You know the creature is about to give out, and remain steadfast while waiting for the tendril to either retract or be ripped away.
But you had disregarded the other tendrils in your haste, and soon found your legs also bound by these appendages. The creature also pulls on these, and your legs are swept from underneath you. With your back to the ground, you're dragged all the way over, until you become lifted by the other surrounding tendrils. All around you they swarm - moist pests that admire and circle around like mosquitos.
It seems that - despite your efforts - you've been caught, and are going to be subject to whatever this beast wants....
