Try the Blaster

Time-Girl pulled her blaster from her holster and took a shot at the trunk. The pressure keeping her trapped lessoned and she was able to get herself free. She lept to the safety of a glacier. She looked back to the water and saw the Mastadon's trunk sink into the water. It was a little sad to watch. She realized that she hadn't had to kill anything that had come at her. Then again, the Mastadon kind of took itself out. It wasn't her fault.

After awhile, the TDD alerted her to the fact it had a full charge and was ready to jump. Time-Girl activated it right away, eager to get out of the frozen wasteland. She fell backwards into the time stream and into the next period.
