Try on your ring

You slip your ring onto your finger, and the world disappears. You feel yourself writhing around on the floor, the pain comes from everywhere and seems unbearable, but you can't see a damn thing. Your body feels as though it's melting, and somewhere through the wall of pain a rational thought breaks through, the knowledge that your features must be changing into those of a girl, just like Andy's did.

At some point, the pain subsides, though you have no idea how long it's been. You blink a couple of times and find that you can see again. Gingerly you try to stand up, but your entire body feels unnatural. Your arms and legs are the wrong size, they're too weak, too slim. You stand to your full height, struggling to stay balanced, and find that rather than looking down a couple of inches at Andy, you now have to look up a fair amount to look at his eyes. When your gaze does reach his eyes, you see a new expression. He looks almost enraptured, and you realize that this must be how you looked when Andy transformed. No wonder he was so weirded out - this is uncomfortable.

"Hey, fuckass, quit staring like that!" You almost flinch from the sound of your voice, which is significantly higher and girlier than your regular voice. You can't help but grin at the ridiculous fact that your brain has decided to focus on the way the word "fuckass" sounds really weird coming from a girl.

Andy smiles wryly. "Sorry man, or girl or whatever, I just wasn't expecting you to be so, well, hot. Did I look this good?"

You feel your face heat up at the compliment, but immediately recoil. The idea that you're enjoying being hit on, even this slight amount, by a guy is making you uncomfortable.

"Ah, come on, don't be like that! I was just complimenting you is all."

The way he's talking is different, you realize. It's the same type of voice you would use when talking to a girl, a little more playful than normal, different in a way that you'd never really noticed until just now.

"Dude, stop being weird. It's still me, it's still Jason. It's just the ring making me look like a chick."

He nods, but the look in his eyes doesn't fully disappear.
