The sound of start! (pick your arena setting)
Tropical Island
The countdown finally reaches 0 and a loud alarm blares overhead. As the doors open all the virgin male contestants suddenly feel a blast of warm air hit their nude bodies, while a bright light floods the room they were. After the initial shock passes and Tom is able to make sense of what is happening, he quickly realises that this year it seems the competition has gone for an elaborate indoor fake Tropical Island. Tom can even hear the sound of distant waves, he wonders if it they have even put a real indoor fake ocean. As the other contestants rush off past him, Tom decides to first check the map to make a strategy.
The map does not show the starting position and if the map is anything to go by, the arena this year is massive and it seems they have indeed managed to setup a fake ocean as well. But that does not matter right now, all that does is that Tom needs to get moving as surely some hunters will be making their way to the starting position in the hopes of catching and stragglers, the hunters are also equipped with the same map as the ones being hunted in order to make the show more intense. However, the sound of the horn has given away the starting position for all hunters to hear.
Looking at the map and looking at the landscape around him, one thing Tom can make out is that there is a small mountain on this island and he can actually see it already, if he can make it to the top of it the mountain he can perhaps see where the biggest threats are and make sense of the map as well in order to figure out where the likely spots might be that the treason has been hidden.
But the mountain may also be a risky area as surely the hunters will be expecting that as well!
Besides the mountain Tom could try to get as far away from everyone else as possible by following the sound of the waves in order to find the beach. But this path will likely have less cover and places to hide.
Lastly he has seen that there is a path behind the starting building that no other contestant has taken yet, perhaps this could be a good idea as well.
