Trialtholon training

Nate looked over the board postings by the gymnasium. Most of his friends had already signed up and were going to compete in the school's annual triathlon. The competition involved cycling through the nearby forest preserve, running through the preserve's final part, and swimming across a small lake on the other side. It was an event meant to raise money for the school, as well as present the students with an opportunity to become better athletes.

Nate had never considered himself very sporty, even with his multitude of powers, but this was his final year. He wanted to do something special that would help him go out with a bang. It was a no-brainer to join this year. As he wrote his name down, he made a mental note not to use is powers to cheat. Using anything like that would just not be a fair way to win.

Besides, his intention wasn't to win: it was to have the most exposure he'd ever had in front of the whole school. The students and faculty usually set up viewing spots at the start and end of the race. His whole year would see him naked! Just imagining it was giving him a rush!

First, he needed to get into shape. After school ended, he set out to find the track and practice.
