Transhuman

You feel bigger, the process hurts and there is more pain than you have ever known but as the pain grows so does your ability to feel it, to understand it, to use it. You are still for 20 minutes and the doctors start yelling about how your heart has stopped, this seems less important than the electricity they are using to restart it. You do not shudder when they pump the power into you, you just store it... you think you will need it.

You sit up after the fourth blast and announce "Its ok, I don't need the heart anymore, it has been upgraded." you stand despite several orderlies trying to stop you. "It's ok boys I am fine" you shake your doctors hand and put on your old clothes, they are loose fitting on you now and you reshape them to fit perfectly and look much better, then you reshape yourself to be more than you were.

In the end you are stronger, faster, and almost indestructible but that is only a trifle. You are so much smarter you could not have imagined how you see the world now and you are growing by the second, but you still have the same drives and hungers, the same emotions that made you a man but now you have the power to make them reality.
