Tracking a mysterious signal

Liara had been tracking a signal to some remote corner of the galaxy, Mysterious in origin, it had been transmitting directly to her and no one else. She had discussed it with Miranda, and they had agreed that it was likely intended as a message for her to come alone. Liara knew that it might be a trap, but she was well-prepared to fend off or escape from anything that came her way. Her shuttle touched performed a quick scan of the planet, a barren, rocky thing devoid of plant life or any valuable minerals. The sort of place that served as a haven for criminals and other unsavory types. After her scans revealed nothing worrying, she stepped out and began looking around.

Suddenly, a loud horn blared out, a hauntingly familiar one, and a massive Reaper Capital Ship touched down in front of her. The only thing preventing Liara from running was the fact that the signal was originating from the Reaper. She stood her ground against the Reaper, watching and waiting to see what it would do. She didn't have to wait long. A subtle hiss was heard and what seemed to be a door to the ship opened, extending into a ramp. Immediately this was strange to her. But not nearly as strange as the figure she saw waiting for her at the top of the ramp. Standing there, clad in her armor, was someone she never thought that she would see again. Someone who was missing and presumed dead following the climax of the Reaper War.
