Toy with her

You make your presence known from the shadows. You step on a twig as you circle her.

Lily spins around. "Who's there?" she calls out.

You don't answer as you continue to circle her, but you keep making noise. You crunch some leaves, kick over a rock and scrape a tree with your machete. By the time she turns toward each sound, you've moved on.

She snatches up a thick branch as she scans her surroundings, her big eyes even bigger in terror.
