Chapter 6
by Duskford
Who is it?
Tori Peterson
Rosie opened her room's door to find her student Tori Peterson outside. On a first look, the young blonde seemed quite distraught to her, so she quickly ushered the girl inside and closed the door.
"Tori? What's wrong?" She asked softly.
Tori didn't say anything at first, content to just walk around the room and wonder if she was doing the right thing by telling Ms. Lamb about Ollie's ****. It could be bad for Molly if the jerk went ahead and posted her photo on the internet, but Tori couldn't take the pressure.
"Ms. Lamb, I think someone has to keep an eye on Ollie Worthington." She said.
Rosie sighed. "What did he do this time?" She asked. It wasn't the first time she heard a student complain about Ollie, he had quite the knack of getting himself in trouble and the same skill for getting out of it. She even caught herself thinking sometimes that his father, the coach, encouraged his behavior.
"He, uhn, he showed me a picture he has of one of my friends in, let's say a naughty situation." Tori replied.
"Who is it, Tori?" Rosie asked, concerned.
"I'd rather not say, Ms. Lamb," The blonde student dodged the question. "And besides, does it matter who it is? He threatened to post it on the internet if I don't help him to have sex with another one of my friends!"
"Calm down, Tori, please," Rosie pleaded, calmly. "Well, what you've told me is really serious, but seeing as we're speaking about the coach's son, I'm afraid we can't really do anything besides keep an eye on him like you've said," The black-haired teacher explained. "I could only send him back home if he goes and, I don't know, rapes someone."
"Well, that's not the answer I was waiting for," Tori sat on the bed's edge beside Rosie. "But thanks for listening, Ms. Lamb, I'm feeling a bit better already."
Rosie smiled. "You know my door is always open if one of you kids want to talk."
At that exact moment, another couple of knocks on the door interrupted their conversation.
"It's open!" Rosie said.
The door opened and Xander Evans poked his head inside. Rosie smiled again, Xander and Tori were two of her best students.
"Uhn, sorry for barging in, Ms. Lamb, but the girls are looking for Tori, and well, I saw her entering here." Xander scratched the back of his neck.
"Oh, thanks Xander, they're probably planning the party." The young blonde stopped in her tracks, noticing that she had spilt the beans in front of their teacher.
"Damn, Tori..." Xander rolled up his eyes.
To their surprise, their teacher actually laughed. "Don't worry, kids, your secret is safe with me," Rosie assured them. "I'm only twenty-six, you know, I certainly remember well my high school days."
"Well, in that case, Ms. Lamb, if you really don't mind you can show up there later," Xander said. "It'll be on Amber and Jessica's room at eleven, I'm sure no one will mind, all of us like you."
Rosie smiled, she was touched by Xander's words. One of the things she always strived for in her classes was to get along with her students and be seen by them as a friend rather than some hooded executioner. "We'll see, Xander."
Tori smirked. "Why, Xander, asking our teacher on a date?" She asked in a teasing tone.
Xander spluttered. "I was just being nice," He was quick to retort. "And it's true, everyone likes Ms. Lamb and wouldn't mind her being there."
"Okay then," Tori chuckled before getting up. "Thanks for the talk Ms. Lamb, it really helped me. Now let's go see what they want," She walked over to the door. "C'mon, Xander."
Rosie observed her students leave with a smile. She wondered if it would really be appropriate for her to make an appearance in a party held by her students. Just the type of gathering that Mr. Hunter would surely yell at her for turning a blind eye at, if he knew.
How does the rest of the day goes?
