Too awkward so decline

"Sorry Rachael," you say. "But this is too weird. I admit I am into this sort of stuff, but not with a close friend. It just feels sort of wrong."

"Oh...I see," Rachael says sadly. "Ok then...fine."

There is an awkward silence over the phone before finally you say, "I'm going to go now...I'll see you Wednesday?"

"Yea...sure," Rachael says.

You hang up. 'Maybe I should have taken advantage of the opportunity,' you think to yourself.
