Tom is cooking

Tom is cooking lunch. Eric goes into the bathroom to take a dump, and Mike is talking to his girlfriend in his room.

You help Tom cook, when Mike comes out of his room upset.

"Well, I guess thats it."

"What is it?" you reply?

"It is it...." Tom jokingly replies.

Mike half-smiles at him. "Sally broke up with me. She was upset I didn't bring her along to the cabin. I told her it was a guy thing, and she got all pissy with me. Saying I wanted to hang more with my boys than her..."

"You chose well", you joke with him.

Mike however, finally starts to lose his composure and stalks out of the room.

You and Tom shrug at each other.

Your dad comes out of the bathroom, and the three of you eat lunch while Mike broods in his room for a while. After about 20 minutes he comes out, sits down, and eats lunch quietly.

Your dad finally breaks the silence. "Well, I guess we begin drinking early, boys!"

Mike grins a bit at that, when your dad reaches out for a couple of bottles of extra strong rum.

He drinks his straight while you, Tom, and Mike mix it with a bit of coke.
