To the sound of Ellie calling his name

"Sam! Sam, are you home?"

Ellie's call roused Sam from his slumber. He stretched and was about to reply when a second voice spoke.

"Looks like we've got the place to ourselves"

Even in his just woken up grogginess Sam knew what this meant... Ellie had brought John back for round two. If he didn't interrupt this not only would his bully spend another night with his stepsister but it was in danger of becoming a long standing thing.
