To the pool!

Despite her best efforts to try and convince herself that she was a new woman and could handle everything, Megan still had that little flutter of nervousness in the pit of her stomach. Sitting in her room and waiting for something to happen was not going to calm her down; she needed to get out and do something. And she knew just the thing.

Her new school had just finished construction of a new, state-of-the-art athletic facility, complete with an indoor pool. A nice, refreshing swim would get her mind off a few things and help her relax! The young girl rummaged through her orientation packet to find the campus map and tried to trace a way to the new gym, making sure she would not get lost. A few moments more helped her find her swimsuit - an aqua one-piece number - and a long towel, and then she was out the door to find the pool.

It was not hard: the new facility was noticeable as soon as she stepped out of the dorms, and she quickly made her way to it. Megan swiped her student ID at the door to let herself in and quickly breezed by a pair of attendants at the front desk. She hesitated to ask where she should go - the two guys at the desk seemed engrossed in conversation - and decided to simply find it herself, following the faint whiff of chlorine to her destination. A few turns in the building and the girl found herself staring at the cool, light blue waters of the pool. The only person she could see was the lifeguard, who perked up a bit as she walked into the room.

Now it was time to change; Megan gave the lifeguard a brief smile before slipping into the locker room conveniently located next door.
