To the midway for some games!

“Let’s go to the midway!” Greg finished. “You said you were a gamer, right?”

Kyle looked out towards the midway, seeing all of the classic carnival games, which a tech-wizard as himself wouldn’t really consider ‘gaming’ and smirked.

“Sure, except they’re rigged and rely on luck, instead of real games that rely on skill.” Kyle said.

“Is that a challenge I hear?” Greg asked. “Sounds like you’re afraid of losing.”

“Afraid? Hardly,” Kyle retorted. “I could smoke you any day.”

“Is that so? Tell you what, let’s make a bet. We’ll go two out of three, I pick the games, and whoever wins gets to pick where we go on our next date.”

“What makes you think there will be a next one?”

“Oh, playing hard to get eh?”

“Shoot…” Kyle thought to himself. He had to stay focused on not playing hard to get!

“All right, it’s getting pretty late, so how about the winner decides the last thing we do tonight?” Greg asked.

Kyle looked around, noticing the roller coaster and the tilt-a-whirl. Both good choices for rides where they wouldn’t be touching, since the roller coaster had shoulder restraints and the tilt-a-whirl would obviously be separate as they’d be standing against the spinning wall. Those would both work in avoiding any romantic intentions, while the Ferris wheel would be perfect for that. Spotting Greg giving the line for the Ferris wheel a glance, Kyle was filled with determination to win the games.

“All right, you’re on!” Kyle smiled.

“Great, let’s go.” Greg motioned towards the first game booth.
