To the high school

As Alexa looked out the window, she watched as they drove down the familiar neighborhood getting closer and closer to their home. But then… Victoria turned down a street and Alexa’s eyes widened. She recognized the path immediately. “W-wait. What are you…”

“I’m picking up Faith and her friends,” Victoria said. “I want no complaints.”

Alexa gasped as Victoria pulled up to the front of the school and parked the car next to the curb. The high schoolers were all filing out of the school, the seniors first. Victoria honked on the horn and rolled down the window on Alexa’s side. Alexa squeaked as people looked over and began whispering as Victoria called out for Faith. Alexa’s eyes widened further as Victoria pushed Alexa’s door open. “Go get your sister, Alexa. Now.”

Alexa couldn’t believe it. There was no way she could step out of the car… in just a diaper and go calling out for her sister and her friends with all the seniors standing there, hanging out. “Now, Alexa.”
