Knowing she can come up with a satisfactory plan to rid the land of those awful beasts, Lania shines up her breast plate, combs her hair and stains her lips. Surely with a little manipulation she can coerce someone to let her through.

However, she notices that the royal guards- Two tall, arrogant men, aren't about to let her through.

The one on the left cocks an eyebrow at her and turns his head to the side to look down at her disdainfully. "What do you want, pipsqueak?" He says in a nasally tone, his lips turning up at the sides. "Here to play consort to a noble? I'm sure my sword would be preferable to his," he says, looking up and down her body.

The other seems unmoved and just glares at her.
