To Find a meal

Having decided to fill both needs simultaneously, you head out onto the streets in search of both a meal and some cute Twi’leks. The streets themselves were still crowded but that was alright, it reminded you of some Earth cities.

Staring at the streets, you decided to pick a direction and began walking, just looking around as you went to see the sights. While doing this you also made a half-hearted attempt to place the aliens with your memory of Star Wars though this was mostly fruitless. At least the pollution wasn’t too bad, you remember that it was supposed to be horrendous in the undercity. Of course, this was likely helped by the fact that the traffic, and a surprising amount at that, was above your head rather than next to you like an Earth city.

Your walk didn’t last for long as you came upon a building with a glowing blue neon sign on the front of it depicting a Twi’lek on a pole behind a bowl of food, just the sort of place you were looking for. Entering the building was a pretty standard affair. The people manning the reception desk asked for a club membership card or that you joined the club to enter. It actually surprised you when you didn’t need to hand over an ID card or something similar, just to give your name and pay a fee that was basically a week’s rent.

The Interior of the club was not so familiar, yet not so different from what you are used to. In the centre, multiple poles stretched from the ground and on up multiple floors. Each floor containing platforms for dancers to dance on. Around the platforms were tables and booths for people to sit and enjoy. Around the outside edge of the floor were booths that allowed for some privacy, apparently they also had holo-projectors in the tables so that those patrons too far from the platforms could get their fix via recorded Twi’lek beauty.

Your eyes fell upon a rather standard bar and grill ensemble off to one side and you make your way over to. Looking at the menu, many of the meal names were, of course, vastly different from what you are used to. No Schnitzel to be had here, that would require Germans and chickens, neither such being existed here. At least steak was on the menu so, opting for the familiar, that was what you ordered, finding a table in view of the ground floor stage.

While you waited for your order to come to you, you observed the local delicacy. At the moment there was only three Twi’leks of the possible nine on stage, but they were certainly pulling their weight. The one closest to you was the one you focused your attention on, a blue skinned Twi’lek. While you weren’t that close to pick out the finer details, the fact she was wearing what amounted to a bikini with an added loincloth certainly left little to the imagination and this, in your opinion was good. Her body was taut and smooth, not enough muscle to stick out but certainly no fat. It stretched, flexed and twisted in enticing fashion as the girl spun around her pole, squatted, twirled, kicked or otherwise danced her way around her station.

While you were busy watching the dancer, your meal arrived for you, carried by a human girl, much to your surprise, in a cute beige button up top with form fitting trousers. She scowled at you and then at the Twi’lek dancing as she placed the plate in front of you.

“Problem miss?” you ask, though you are pretty sure you know what the issue is.

“None at all sir, please enjoy your meal” she replied, in a cute Coruscanti accent before turning around and leaving.

You grinned at her response and then turned to your meal, Nerf steak with a mess of greens that were probably vegetables of some sort. If you had to describe Nerf Steak, it would be a cross between lamb and beef. That it was cooked rather well did it further justice in your opinion. For a drink you just had a cheap ale, it was light and refreshing that was what was important. It did, however, surprise you that there were no soft drinks at all, merely alcoholic beverages. You’d have thought they would have had something other than **** available, but oh well.

“Was everything to your taste sir?” asked the cute human waitress after you finished with your meal.

“It was quite nice thank you, I’ll have the cheque if you don’t mind” you reply and the girl handed you a sheet of something that looked like paper but was actually called ‘Flimsy’. The bill came to a whopping 20 credits and that included the drink you had with dinner.

“I was expecting a little more expensive for such a fine meal with such cute serving staff” you say offhandedly as you take out a credit chip with a predetermined amount of credits on it. The girl blushed at your comment but took out a datapad so you could pay.

“And here I thought you were only interested in the aliens” The girl commented as she flicked her eyes over the blue form of the dancers.

“A novelty, no aliens where I’m from and apparently Twi’leks are in popular demand just about everywhere” you say to her. “Plus, I’m not sure if you can beat a proper Coruscanti accent like yours” You say, giving her a grin as you watched her blush again.

You take a moment to study the girl while she blushes; pale skin, platinum blond hair cut short into a bob cut with a hair clip on her left side. All told she was a very cute example of the species, making you wonder if you could catch her off shift.

“Uhh . . . I get off in an hour” the girl said as if in answer to your thoughts. You can’t help but grin at this answer. Thinking quickly, you decide to slip a few extra credit chits onto the table as a tip.

“I’ll wait right here then, name’s Dereck in case you are wondering.” you tell the girl who gives you a smile in return.

“Abrie” she replied before scooping up the chits, turning and walking away.
